These are "for now" men. Most of them will abandon older women once that woman goes into menopause or has her looks start to fade. Men always trade in for younger models. As young man, I am not selfish to leave someone for someone younger. Those men are losers.

It depends on the young man's past. I didn't have my 'f boy' phase so to speak, until I was hurt in the first relationship I made myself emotionally vulnerable in. If the man is younger and has been hurt before then he's less likely to make another deep attachment, especially to an older woman.

@DuncanL7979 Take half your age then add 7 yrs. That's the youngest age recommended. 81 ÷ 2 = 40.5 years. Add 7 = 47.5 yrs. And I have plenty of younger 40s something standing in line. I don't want them. Too young. It does work with a 22 yr.old in the body of an 81 yrs. young seenager and its fantastic. When together age doesn't even exist and we feel great together for however long it lasts. He's keeping me safe from the stable of guys out there begging me. I think a better way to think about this is to first ask yourself “what do I want” and make that clear to the other person in the beginning of the relationship. If they say “no” or are unsure, then it’s best to look elsewhere.

This will make 90% of all women fall in line with you even the immature ones and those supposedly not ready to settle. Older women quite frankly have less options and time so they fall in line more out of necessity and are willing to compromise on things they can no longer attract. This is why they appear more "mature" because they're forced to adapt to dating market place.
