If you ever get the opportunity to stay in this incredible hotel/castle, book it! You will absolutely not regret it, especially with all the activities offered on the castle grounds. My family and I had the pleasure of spending several nights here in 2011/2012, and the beauty and service was unparalleled. I was surprised that this clip didn’t mention one of my favorite facts about this property; during the filming of the classic movie “The Quiet Man,” the cast stayed at the estate. You can imagine our surprise when we were shown to our suites and it was casually mentioned that I would be staying in Maureen O’Hara’s former room and my parents would be staying in John Wayne’ quarters just a few steps above hers in one of the towers...my father was absolutely giddy! I think ownership has changed hands since then, so I’m not sure those rooms are available anymore, but if they are, they’re definitely worth it for the history and the gorgeous view!
Absolutely astouding.This is the authenticly fairytale landscape.It is the genuine paradise on earth.It looks we are in heaven.One day I would like to spend some time on this charming place.Congratulations to all those who take care of this beautiful place.
My wife Maureen and I had a wonderful night here back in 2011. An amazing experience. The receptionist not easily impressed of course, was astonished at our Elvis Presley story.
I would like to spend 4 nights there, in doing that I could go back and stay a further fortnight to see the rest of the castle. Who would like to join me? ☺️

Typical British said in the opening blurb that they were heading to County Mayo on the shores of Lough Corrib then process to show a map of Galway contradicting what they just said the hotel is actually situated in Galway not mayo our neighbours cant even get basic geography right
Now that we have the LEGO technology next to the Tesla perfect green homes, get in action fans building up such a great sight every single village on this planet to date music lovers & paaaarty, very Royal Castle Mega dancing happening fans, get in action plizzzzzz, Winter season is the best one to start to dig up the water channels and raise up new hills for Champagne plantations, untill any desert on this planet will look like the most adorable British heavenly garden full of roses and vertical new oxygen factories to neutralize pollution and save the planet together everybody, yeah, if you are not revolutionary to start to put the world upside down then who?
