The gift scene in the beginning is pretty clever because that’s exactly how a Tiffany gift box looks: turquoise box with a white ribbon tied in a bow. Of course a Fine/Rosenberg relative would be tricky like that lol.

I was enjoying watching The Nanny and was working through series 2 when I stupidly watched this episode in full. It made me realise that the storylines that went before were a complete waste of time. The running joke of Maxwell being jealous, his interfering’ with Fran’s love life, his fear of intimacy etc. What was the point of all that when he was off shagging Marla Maples? This episode make a mockery of the whole thing for me.
