Wow. Big props to you and Kyle on this project! This is really amazing! I was only recently introduced to DecentSampler, and I'm really happy to see how much love it is getting from the community at large.
Wait what you converted 222 kontakt libraries to decent sampler?!? You're an hero for sure!! THANK YOU SO MUCH to you and also to David and Kyle of course!
C'est à se demander si tu as des défauts xD Congrats to you all, and thank you very much for this amazing work. Happy 2022 to anyone who will surely create musical gems thanks to the PianoBook community!
At a time of fear and uncertainty, generosity like this makes me feel little better about the world. I love what pianobook is and making samples available to everyone free via decent sampler seems consistent with its values. So Dave thanks for making decent sampler and for you guys putting in all that hard work in converting the samples. P.S. I love the bouzouki.
A truly incredible effort, hats off to all of you who made that possible. I could see you succeeded to convert a couple of my instruments, too, which I greatly appreciate. This actually spurs me to not only be more active and make a DS version of what instruments I make, but also makes me think in a more "generic user friendly" way to build an instrument, so that it does not remain constrained within the boundaries of Kontakt. Tres merci, Joyeux Noel et Bon Annee!!
@@frpoirier that is very thoughtful of you! I have been working on the 2nd bundle of the NFO Strings, and this time I shall make the DS version myself!!
Merry Christmas Frédéric and happy holidays! I'm fortunate that I discovered you this year, you have done a lot for everyone else out there and your music is beautiful.
Thanks for all your work. I'm struggling to access which sampler to focus upon. I have a lot of experience with Logic sampler and a big investment in Kontakt and I've tried Decent Sampler. I love the concept behind Decent and Pianobook, but at the moment I'm maintaining so many different samplers, I can't remember which one I used for a given sound/samples or instruments. It's a mess.
Thanks Rob! I sent you an e-mail about it a couple weeks ago, maybe it got lost. Anyway, there is now a html tool created by a Pianobook fellow that works much better than the application I used the first time. I now use this when I convert from EXS24. Here is the link to its www.pianobook.co.uk/forums/topic/decent-sampler-helper-tool/
@@frpoirier Thanks Fred - I've downloaded the helper - not sure what happened to the email. In any event - I hope you are well - Merry Christmas to you and yours and thanks for converting my samples! I hope we get to meet some day!
