With a weekday service now working the line between Gainsborough Central and Barnetby, me and some mates at work decided to ride the line which for me was a first on this track. One train there and back is pretty poor in my opinion and really it should be at least a few trains at more suitable hours for people who may want to use the train to travel to and from work.
One of the mates I was with was ‪@flightsandtimes‬ who does some interesting travel videos so check it out if you can.

A interesting video from you Ben, was good to cover different things in this video including mentioning me and spoons and only filming a few freight at Barnetby because you had to catch the train back. Wont say no more till I see you, nice work from you again, Mike.

Thanks Mike. Yes it was interesting but not my most exciting video. Haha. Spoons was good and I had to mention you as you are the spoons expert. Was good to see a couple of freight at BTB especially a coal train.

Only ever done that stretch of line once myself Ben, and that was on a railtour. Interesting to see some of the changes over the years, and it sounded like the local children were making good use of it. Thanks for sharing mate 👍Colin.

Nice adventure to Barnetby. Taking a bit of a risk there Ben, long walk home if the only one return service gets cancelled.🤔

Fantastic mate. It's a dam shame that Northern Rail doesn't give the community's on that stretch a propper service.Its a joke, mate. But this is what you get when idiots run things who think they no better. Cracking time had at Barnetby too. Bonus. Nice one Ben

well what can you say spoilt for choice on which train to travel on, why don't they just say they don't want to bother with the service and have done, there used to be a good service years ago fitting in with the MGR's to West burton

It's a shame because it serves some busy towns and warrants a better service. Oh well the railway always seems to do things that don't make sense. Thanks John for your comment
