Purdy is the answer to the thought experiment on what happens when you draft a very good QB to a very good team. most of the time, top QBs get drafted within the first two rounds to mediocre or bad teams.

I’m telling you right now Brock Purdy will not be demanding top five QB money. The guy is a team player more than likely. He’s gonna do an extremely team friendly contract that still going to see him get paid as a top to be in the NFL, but he also realizes that he can’t do it all himself and he needs help and that doesn’t mean that he’s not an elite quarterback he is an elite quarterback, but smart quarterbacks realize they can’t do it by themselves. They need help.

This will be the first year that Brock will experience being the S.F. QB in full, his rookie year not meany snaps in mini camp didn't start playing until late in the season, second year healing from surgery limited throws in mini camp and preseason along with playing right before getting a new contract I would believe he is going to be the mvp and super bowl winner and mvp and he has earned it all

2nd year player coming off a ucl tear which nfl fans kinda just sweep under the rug, I’m sure he’ll throw a couple more deep balls next season with the stronger elbow.

I don't know if it's just me that thinks this so please let me know....I can't imagine Brock being the guy that he is sticking it to the 49ers as far as salary goes.....Yes I know that 60+million will be the going rate soon.....I just don't see Brock looking for that kind of money (is he worth it HELL YEAH!) I think Brock understands that if he takes a relatively team friendly deal say 35-40 million he will be a VERY wealthy man while still giving the team the ability to keep most of the roster together and still win a LOT of championships just like what Brady did....40 million over a 12 year + career is roughly a half a billion dollars and we ALL know QBs are playing MUCH longer than 12 years in todays NFL.
