I left Bolton in 1965 when my parents immigrated to Canada and I've always wanted to come back but life just got in the way. I've been searching for the place I was born called Heaton Grange which used to be a maternity hospital and couldn't find it, but you did. I just wanted to say thank you so very much I can finally see the place I was born.
Random guy who was never in the shot appears out of the blue: "Please don't show my face on camera" ----------->Proceeds to put face as close as possible to camera.
I was always in two minds when Fred was bringing down structures. Gave me vertigo watching what he climbed with a couple of ladders and a few bits of rope. Flippin' superhero.
He was a nobody until a few years ago when the BBC decided to upload some Archive footage, don’t pretend you knew who he was until a couple of years ago.
Queen’s Park the park were that poor little girl was executed by an illegal immigrant ,I only mention this in memory of her ,may she rest in peace little angel xxx your not forgotten xxx
6 months prior to that incident, I was at a meeting with Bolton At Home, Bolton Council Refugee groups and raised my concerns about the dangers posed by asylum seekers and refugees volunteering with community groups because we're not informed about their mental health conditions. I was treated like a racist and scoffed at by all of them. The meeting was at the Bolton CVS.
We heard of that all the way over here in Canada it was horrible, and on Mothers day no less! What sort of people did the political class allow into Britain? I remember Queens park and the fun I had there as a child what a terribly sad ending for someone so young.
Thanks for this Charlie Bolton is where I was born & bred but sadly I won’t be returning It’s nothing like I remember anymore apart from a few echoes of the past
Diabetics eye care is very important and is definitely a thing. Diabetes can cause blindness. I go once a year to have my eyes checked by a specialist.
My partner has diabetic eye problems. Lots of eye bleeds and 10 laser eye surgeries, they removed the liquid gel of her eye and replaced it. But she got through it and her eyes haven't fell out or burst 2 years down the line. Luckily there is a great eye infirmary in Sunderland.
@@cynthiahunter519 She's doing good now, type 1 diabetic since the age of 3 takes its toll. She's got an insulin pump fitted 4 years ago and they are life changers. No more 6 injections a day and the hypos have stopped. Thank you for your kind words.
I’d love your commentary in some Victorian era seaside villages on the east coast… I know you visited Hull… but howsabouts Scarb, Brid, Hornsea, Beverley maybe…
If you ever smoke dmt or get stuck in a k hole you will come across elephants like that lol mad but you will. Love the vids mate keep safe and most importantly keep happy . Thumbs up.
My Brother lives there & Nieces went to Bolton school , visited there so many times 30 yrs ago . Its pretty sad what has happened to a lot of these towns. There were never any gated estates then 😪
Some of the houses and gated communities look like my ideal retirement fantasy, just quietly bumbling through my declining years, walking to the newsagents for pipe tobacco and papers, and living peacefully. Ahhh
What on earth do the working class have to do with the planting of the trees, or the lack of it? It’s the upper middle class town planners that do that, surely?
Charlie singlehandedly reminding the UL what freedom looks like ... how i have missed sovereign, autonomous minded individuals .... gives you confidence to act like an independent citizen again.😊
Ha! I live near Bolton school. You definitely missed some bits out there. Yeah the Chorley New Road bit is definitely posh. All the trees have preservation orders on so if they could a fair few would rip them out if they could. That massive house with the dogs used to be a bungalow like the ones next to it. If youd gone down tudor Ave you'd have seen 3rd world country down there when you reach gilnow. Definitely depressing and rundown. All behind the school. Beiruts in better nick.
Funny thing is that Dr. Hensman is a retired NHS Consultant Clinical Psychologist (according to his website) and the 'US' bit seems to be nothing but an ill-advised choice of domain suffix. I think from his website that he chose it because to him it says "us" as in we; all of us, together. Instead Charlie you're right, it reads like a cult. Amazing how so little can say so much!
3:25 Is the best pizza you will ever have in your life I kid you not. That is no ordinary Takeaway... That is proper Italian. You need to try... I think Tuesday 'Not Allowed' - No Uber or Delivery... Not the cheapest food but certainly the taste of Italy. Pizza Bolognese is a proper banging option. Everything is good there and fresh... The sauce is a secret family recipe. You buy vino there also... always handy 🎉😂
You walked right through the main smack head area of Bolton to get to the leafy part! They will have been scared off by the rain... different story on a sunny day!! Usually begging at all the traffic lights and kicking off with each other! Embarrassing to see the dilapidated state of the town centre. Disappointed you didn't try to pronounce the name of the nature reserve ha ha!!
I love Bolton. If you ever want to meet up in my old home town the drinks are on me. Thank you for showing off it’s secret and nicely padded underbelly.
Bit perplexing, the geezer walking up and touching your camera. Almost makes you wonder where they come from. Like was he just waiting in a bush with binoculars?
You're not seriously suggesting that the working class have any say in how many trees are planted in their streets? Trees in urban areas cost money to keep that town counsels are loath to spend except where their council members live.
Klimator website spiel: "We provide unparalleled road weather data by combining machine learning, rule-based algorithms, and vast amounts of data." Oh, so they admit that the weather on roads is different! I think they mean temperature, that is obviously what it is all about!
