Bryan Robson is still my favourite player of all time, and he retired 28 years ago i think. Engine, tackling, goals, courage, leadership, my football hero.
Wow, that's amazing! Well my favorite all-time Manchester United player is Eric Cantona but Bryan Robson is also one of the best player I ever seen. Always love how he become great leader as Captain of Manchester United for years. Anyway please kindly support by visit my channel, now I'm try to build channel from zero that focus on Manchester United. Really appreciate if you supported, my friend :) #GGMU
Brilliant upload. Younger United fans don't realize just how good captain Marvel was. I remember him dragging us by the scruff of the neck, in tough games. His performance against Barcelona at OT in 84 was phenomenal. He played Marradona off the park.
I think you have to be an 80's kid to understand why Robson is still a favourite player of so many. I went to Old Trafford, we were 0-1 down to Norwich. Bryan Robson came on as a sub, back from injury. His first tackle, really brave, wins the ball and the ground is rocking. Robson scores and he is running back to the centre circle with the ball, hard to explain, yet it is the only time I thought a footballer could be a hero. We went onto win 2-1. Just a small memory to share. I was a young man.and it inspired me in life to always give work situations my best.
Robson my first football hero ,he seemed to be everywhere on the pitch , great header of the ball, ferocious tackler ,kept the ball well and iron lungs . Captain marvel sums him up perfectly
My absolute hero and all-time best Manchester United player. I only wished he had avoided injuries as Manchester United would have indeed won more trophies and the league.
When I was a lad growing up in the early 80's in Sale Moor I used to play for Holy Family football club and there were two Chris Lee's on the team in myslef and one other Chris Lee so our Manager decided since I arrived at the club second I had to have a nickname to prevent confusion and decided the team would call me Robbo and made me Captain. TALK ABOUT HIGH STANDARDS AND PRESSURE!!!!
Because of him I travel million miles away to Old Trafford but my lucky day is when the 1st step I made at Old Trafford and bump into a person I like the most is Bryan Robson and I manage to take picture with infront of MegaStore. I begining to support MUFC since 1986 because of Bryan Robson. Captain Marvel.
26:36 = That superb goal Robbo scored for England away to Norway for me just about sums up all the qualities of Bryan Robson i.e. quick pace, fine ball control, strength, balance, determination, tenacity, finishing.
Great player, I met him once when he was opening a sports shop in my local town and I got my picture taken with him and some sighed goodies too, a down to earth guy.
If Manchester United could be moulded into a man, it would be Robson, United through and through. Best midfield player this country has ever had, could do it all!
One of my three sporting English heroes, Robson, Botham, Mansell. All 100% committed. Utd and England were a lot weaker when he was not playing. Led by example.
Robbo you are my hero. You had everything and more. The only midfielder player I have seen since your career ended that could hold a candle to you was Roy Keane and I am not saying that because I am a ManU supporter. Not Gerrard/Platt/Lampard/Souness can be compared to you. I just wish my name was spelt Bryan
