BABY'S FIRST PMV. Everyone I've watched makes this process look so easy, but being able to work on my own humbled me a lot. IT'S HARD. I started this in September really ambitiously and originally this was supposed to be like an extra minute or so long before I cut it short to save myself from getting burnt out. I could sit here and rip into all I wish I could change about this but I'm proud of myself getting it done.
Anywaayys, this is a pmv about the game Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling! A really underated paper mario styled game featured around bug characters, the green beetle I focused on particular: Kabbu! I'm not diving into what's exactly happening in the video because it contains massive Ch 5 spoilers into the game but I hope you can get the idea :}

Thank you!! :)) I really wanted to try and capture Kabbu's survivor's guilt. His character is really interesting to me

@@ninoxmeeki79 Same here! While everyone's arcs in this game were so interesting to witness, Kabbu's I think stuck with me the most in terms of how I saw his character from then on out.

You have done this moment justice. Replaying the game with knowledge of Kabbu's backstory has been fascinating, and this is getting me excited to see more from this second perspective

my friend sent me this after i completed this fight for the first time. they said to emotionally prepare myself. i did not. and then i almost cried. like. chapter 5 was not okay for me. because i had also done Leif's request at the beginning of that chapter. and i nearly cried then. and then the entire thing with Kabbu's past. and i almost cried multiple times. i didn't think i would get attached and then i got attached

YEAH... Leif's quest is an emotional train wreck as well, I did not expect such heavy themes of a beetle's survivor's guilt and roaches bringing back bugs from the dead through questionable means, but both of those moments in the game really hit hard for me as well and are probably two of my favorite moments in the game.

Aaaaaah, this is so good! This was such a great moment in the game and this PMV represents so well! Your art style is BEAUTIFUL with Bug Fables, thank you so much for sharing this with the world! This is INSANE for a first PMV, I wish Bug Fables was more popular so this could get the attention it deserves! You should be incredibly proud of this.

Kabbu's arc is AWESOME except it kinda feels.... incomplete, and it's all because of *one* line of dialogue. In Kabbu's request, he says, something along the lines of ,,And my new friends? They are good, but will never be as good as you'' idk exactly. Now this feels like something he would say but then realise how far he came with Vi and Leif, but nope, nothing. Now this would have been fine if it was in chapter 5, but no, this is *after killing a flames controlling god with infinite power* and *helping an undead come to terms with it's new life, saying how he became great friends with him and Vi regardless of previous life*. Still a great character, my favorite in fact, but that 1 line of dialogue makes it slightly less touching.
