The summertime can be very productive or you can go out and catch a skunk fairly easily. I will be honest my summer has been slow with the Hocking River being high most of the summer. After my trip on the Susquehanna, I came back with a technique that the winner Nolan Minor had used on low and clear river smallies. The Evergreen Gizmo is a very interesting topwater lure and delivered a ton of fun in a small creek here in Ohio.
