Omg! I love this video and I completely agree. I think that some RU-vidrs are following a trend. It’s crazy how some people who have grown their channels by doing unboxings and shopping etc are now going to stop. The problem there is their subscribers will simply go elsewhere for the content that they like. Personally, I will not be following that trend because I love sharing anytime I find a bargain! 🤣

Good Morning!! Yes I've seen a few of the videos. It's close to the quiet luxury trend for me. It's just a way to make themselves feel better than or superior to others. That youtuber in particular is just trying to shift her content. But I'm sure she's going to keep some of her luxury stuff for sure.
Good afternoon, I concur completely. Most certainly to each's own. I do not believe that everybody woke up one day and said the same things. However, just my 2 cents, some may have made luxury their god....everyone has the right to buy whatever they desire and I respect that. I think we have to initially determine why do we like certain brands, bags etc. We're already valuable, so we work the bags and not the other way around. I truly love buying handbags since I was old enough to work at 15yrs. I do not do trends, but I do put GOD first, look for bargains, sales👍👜🛍💃🏾Peace & Love

God is always first in any and every little trivial to the most important thing. I just want anyone that may come across my channel and watch me at any point in time. To know the difference because yes, we all are so vulnerable to some of the things we see and think and a lot of times they are not real.

I don’t know about any bigger youtubers who are doing that cuz I prefer watching youtubers that give a more homey cozy vibe. But if those big youtubers made their platform off of maximalist stuff and all of a sudden doing a 180 then that’s kinda like slapping the faces of the people who supported them to begin with. Also maybe I’m reading too much into this but when people all of a sudden want to get rid of everything that’s usually a sign of something very wrong. I.e. mental health issues, joining a cult etc so yeah that all sounds no good imo and yes if you were to do this I would fly out to Texas and find you to make sure you’re ok!!💜💜💜

Ever since YT started paying people money just to have a channel. Honey there's click bait every where. The YT checks are so big for some of these influencers. Now you have paid sponsors on top of the YT checks. There is no reason for them to be a minimalist now. I'm so over these folks that receive free clothes, make up even free trips. Some of these YTubers made so much money, they brought their mom a car a house....lol. crazy s&^%$

I haven't seen any of the videos. But, I don't believe that they are getting rid of this stuff and not getting more. They may already have more and are cleaning closet to make extra money. People will buy those bags and clothes just because of who they belong to. I mean, I just got that Juicy Key from another Juicy bag lol. I don't have money like you or them but I still at least try to look halfway decent. So, I think your a right.
