I love what you did with the story of Outlands, making it more coherent and connected to the rest of the warcraft universe. Wow's main lore problem is that storylines are confined to their expansions, are are dropped as soon as the next one comes out. You, on the other hand, connect the whole story trough lore important characters, WoD's insight into pre-shattering Draenor and actual thought and reason as to why things exist all the while paying homage to the WC3 source. As someone to whom the Outlands and Draenor are the most interesting parts of Warcraft, I am glad I somehow stumbled upon these videos.
Fascinating. Interesting parallel you draw between the demonic blood corruption and the blood magics we see later in BfA. You weave a captivating tale. Are you going to push on to other expansions that deserved better? A daunting task, for sure.
@@khanlusa One of my biggest gripe is with WotLK, specifically the lacking content of Azjol-Nerub. Just the idea of lawful evil Spider allies, but even more so the chance to exploring such an ancient subterranean civilization would have been awesome! I actually liked how Cataclysm changed up existing areas. I hope they do something similar again in the future. Maybe even for places like Azjol-Nerub and Farahlon. Like an updated Outland.
Really do like the buildup, as you keep things close to the original, yet add some nice differences to it. The change on Kazzak granting the blood to the Fel orcs is actually interesting - so far only pit lords/annihilans seemed to be capable to do so, but this also sounds quite fun. Kinda wondering if this will lead to something deeper. :3 What about Kargath actually? Is he listed under Illidari forces or why wasn't he mentioned as one of the more major Warcraft 2 characters? If there's something, no need to spoil. Otherwise I guess there was no need to list up every single Hellfire Peninsula raid boss ^^ Also kinda neat how you're already weaving in Teron Gorefiend, who had more or less a minor role in actual BC despite also being one of the more major lore characters with connections to Ner'zhul and technically also some of the Illidari allies like Kael'Thas. Who knows, maybe he also plays a bigger role in this. Wc2 Death Knights are awesome, even up to the point where I even fancy Wc2's design on Teron with the yellow cloak more over his WoW model in BC. ^^ In any ways a really good video, really looking forward the next parts.

@@khanlusa ohh nice, that's good to hear. Sorta the same what I stated with Gorefiend also does apply in my eyes to Kargath. Just the old design of him really is something neat - although the WoD version definitly looked interesting to me as well. Kinda wonder how a mix of both would look like.
I'd love to see your take on the northren zones one day, heck even Cataclysm (and maybe rework deathwing to be less... rapey... if you read up his lore you'd know)
I'm begging you to not kill off Kael'thas in your reimagining. He was a good character who deserved better and in my opinion, had plenty of future storytelling potential.
The road to ruin is paved with good intentions. If the Bloodied Prince is to not meet his end… he will not return as a hero, nor do I think he’d want to. The Fel consumes light and dark alike.
Such a great video!! I love how you explain the quests and the atmosphere. I've gotten more immersed in your storytelling than in actual WoW quests... 1. The orcs not being into warlocks is first, a great design for orc warlocks (kept in the shadows) and second, common sense. Having different dynamics for each class depending on your race would be a game-changer for immersion. I would love quests designed to display their comrade's attitudes towards, for example, orc warlocks, forsaken priests, and night elf mages (in cataclysm). 2. Honor Hold being filled with zealots with PTSD and having Tirion the one to try and set them straight; great idea!! Trollbane dying is a hard-hitting death that truly sets the tone for the rest of the expansion! 3. ILLIDAN AND HAVING RAMIFICATIONS FROM HIS FIGHT WITH ARTHAS! YES! 4. The different adventures each character takes are amazing. I love how each character is routed toward different zones; allowing Outlands to feel more connected and linear. Detective Liadrin is such a cool idea. And Vareesa acknowledging Arator and remembering Sylvanas... yessss! 5. Just curious: I'm trying to picture Hellfire Peninsula with the designs you've chosen; does the zone still have an overall red and barren atmosphere or is it more along the lines of Tanaan Jungle but a bit more grim? It's funny imaging survivors actually surviving in real Hellfire Peninsula... where's the food and water and supplies? Having the jungle parts makes the survivors still existing way more believable.
