Solid video, but I have no idea where you're getting some of this stuff from. I don't recall helicopters being a huge problem and *of course* Crysis supports 1080p resolution. Hell, Far Cry 1 supported 1080p, even back at release in 2004…

It’s hard to find the words how…perfect this video is. Even calling it “perfect” seems like I’m insulting it somehow, like it’s more than merely “perfect.” I really enjoyed the segment on how *you* would pilot the story if you were given even the slightest chance. That hit me HARD, right in the feels. Love it.
My headcanon is the force tried to "fix" its mistake by creating Anakin (and eventually Vader) with Galen Marek (knowing he would eventually go against Vader and Palpatine). Then the force realized it had to he a Skywalker to bring back balance. I know its somewhat forced since Im assuming the Force can think like a person (and make mistake) as well as see the future but not too far into the future. Thats the only way I can explain StarKiller being this damn strong
I liked this game back then but now its one of my guilty pleasures. I hated the QTEs everyone of these games went with. It's better than Star Wars Kinect.

Alex is just mimicing the look of a gas mask, just how he mimics the clothes, so it may seem like he has a gas mask but he doesnt the mask is simly just part of his body
I didn't even get that far into the game I got just passed the dryads, got stuck, fell back down an elevator that I'd just gone up, only to discover a progress breaking bug in the form of not being able to get the elevator back. Between replaying 20 mins or playing something better, I picked better.
This Nanosuit, lowkey reminds me Guts' Beserker Armour, it's practically both the same in Crysis and in the manga, I Crysis the suit grows and migrate into open wounds in order to keep the "user" alive and to prevent them from dying and to keep moving on, and in Beserk the manga, the Beserker armour is constantly keeping Guts from dying, so whenever Guts takes damage or breaks a bone the Beserker armour will shoot spike into the bones to keep Guts together, it also prevents him from getting tired and to continue fighting just the same as the nano suit, I like the idea that Alcatraz and Guts share similar outcomes like almost reaching death but whatever they're wearing brings them back for more, even with Alcatraz fighting aliens and humans, Guts fights off Demons and humans and more. I like both of them, but just for the others who might not like this comment I know they share some differences and one has experienced more ❤😊
Chugged down all three vids in one go. Such a punch into nostalgia gland, first Crysis were the first ever game i played online, and back in that time i found friends im still in contact with today. Some of the best times i had. Any chances for Warhead vid as well? P.S. maybe a weird thing to say, but i also greatly enjoy this soothing androgynous voice.
People who think starkillers powers are too much still think in midi chlorian terms. If Darth Vader has 20k per cell how much does Starkiller have? Why isn't Starkiller the chosen one? Starkiller is simply unshackled. He isn't brought up in the restrictive and oppressive order of the Jedi nor in the enslaving way of the sith. He was never told there were rules or limits. The force flows through him.
I first played Crysis 1 and 2 this year. I don’t like Crysis 2 as well as the first one. The devs nerfed stealth play. No more bushes or shrubs to hide in. It could have been a pile of garbage if set in the city. Also they removed going PRONE. No more pseudo open world. The game is played on a rail now. I felt like I was walking down a long hallway the entire game. Crysis 2 had generic alien enemies. Some are straight rip offs from Halo. Crysis 1 had interesting space squids with frost powers. Crysis 2 REUSED the atomic bomb cliche even though Crysis 1 established nukes are non effective as a major plot point. Just a few things
I think your ideas are good. I also agree that TFU2 should have followed Maris Brood. The original concept art for the TFU project showed both a male and female protagonist. Looking at Brood's portrayal, it just seems obvious that is what the female protag evolved into. My idea does differ a bit from yours, though. In my idea, she actually wasn't honest with Starkiller about giving up the dark side, and she makes a living as a mysterious bounty hunter at the start of the game since she doesn't want to commit herself to anyone else. Maris becomes the pupil of Arden Lyn, a former Follower of Palawa from the First Great Schism. Arden Lyn is a character from the maligned Masters of Teräs Käsi, but her story was filled out by the lore team in many ways after the fact. Now Arden is actually a pretty interesting, but forgotten, character. Maris is at first recruited by Arden when she is one of the Emperor's Hands. As Maris fights alongside Arden, Arden tells her stories of the First Great Schism in the form of flashbacks where you play as Arden. These will also serve as tutorials where Maris learns Teräs Käsi moves from Arden, expanding Maris' powers. Between this and Maris' existing animal handling skills, the powers could be toned down a little bit without weakening Maris since she now has many more options. You could even construct Force-enhanced blades like the ones used in the Schism before the invention of lightsabers, offering more customization to your fighting style. The two eventually join Demetrius Zaarin's coup against the Emperor, giving players a chance to fight against Imperials without actually joining the Rebellion. Eventually, you'd board the Majestic and fight with Arden and her other recruits against Sheev, and "win." The game leaves it open to question whether or not Sheev allowed himself to be captured just to torment Arden, who threatens his claim to know the oldest forgotten secrets of the Force. Of course, Vader and Maarek Stele disable the shuttle you are transporting the Emperor on, and during the boarding action, Palpatine ambushes Maris and Arden, driving them away. I think it would be dramatic if Arden died here, but the lore says that doesn't happen. Anyway, I think this makes a really cool plot for the game that nicely weaves into gameplay improvements, and most of it is actually just synergizing with existing lore. You even get to see TIE Defenders kicking butt out the window during the finale!
Gay black guy speaking here. This game is not trying to be a social commentary, nor does it portray itself as anything other than a silly over the top comedic game. Sensitive people shouldn't play games like this and I mean that with utmost respect. You'll just annoy yourself and ruin the experience for others. This is why things are massively censored today, media like this should exist and allowed to be funny.
I'm sure the game never explains it but maybe the ship coming through the white hole didn't have shields or whatever because it would end up absorbing all that energy and either collapse the hole or absorb an infinite amount of energy and combust? I'd say that makes sense. Not that this game is any good, I watched this whole video and I literally only remembered that final cutscene. Just a boring game honestly. I don't get it. The Nanosuit is such a fun idea but they just give it special plot powers instead of making the gameplay more fun with it, the obvious direction would have been to make it more and more powerful. Aside from turning invisible and the plot stuff there's nothing the suit can do that can't be replicated by like...5 dudes. Like yeah it can pick up heavy objects but a few dudes with rocket launchers can still mess shit up. These games should have turned in to like the Just Cause of FPS gameplay wise.
