The button mushrooms are taking super slow to colonize their grain jars and the cordyceps are covered in juicy black patches and one of the mini monotubs has a sweet stink coming out of it.
It's an update on both of those mycology projects as well as a bit of a discussion on different mushroom strains and how some are super aggressive while others are more timid like our button mushrooms must have been.

Is there an update on the Cordyceps grow?

I've debated removing this video from the channel because they basically failed. One of the tubs grew some and the other three became black and disgusting until I eventually tossed them. If I were to try again I'd just do it in jars.

@@TinyWorldLaboratory yeah jars or take away containers seem to be the way to go. Out of curiosity, was it the sweet smelling one that succeeded?

Yes it was. It wasn't a huge amount or anything but it did get some actual fruits.

@@TinyWorldLaboratory Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I’ve got a couple of trays that are 2.5 weeks in and have that sweet smell. It’s surprisingly hard to find any mention of it online.
