Glad you liked it! It really just depends on how the pinch weld sits on your jack stands in relation to the body moldings on the side. In most cases as long as your jack stand will clear the moldings it should be able to support the weight. If your not going to clear the molding then add the pinch weld adapter. Slowly lower the car down and monitor the jack stand/pinch weld, as long as you're not at an angle (will notice pinch weld collapse one way or the other) you should be good with either the pinch weld adapter or the jack stand. Yes, your advice does help. Thanks for taking the time to write me back. I will monitor to make sure the jack stands don’t come into contact with molding. I was picturing that pinch weld adapter being able to slide off that jack stand pad because it’s just slick aluminum on the bottom. Maybe the weight of the car will keep that from being an issue. On some vehicles it will be fine and others you risk the pinch weld bending and/or damaging the rocker panel. There are certain vehicles that you are forced to jack up the vehicle on the pinch weld as there are no other points. Even the car shops using 2 post lifts on occasion will jack a car up on all 4 pinch weld points with a similar rubber pad on the arms as the Esco jacks (amzn.to/4eJKfry). The difference is the 2-post lift evenly distributes the weight on all 4-points vs using a jack stand at home you are putting most of the weight on that one jack point. You can try it but do it slowly and make sure the pinch weld is not collapsing on its side. Also, sometimes you can put a 2x4 or something on top to distribute the weight a little more on the pinch weld or right next to it (need to be careful tho as it can be dangerous). With a perfect fit, the pinch weld adapter is going to sit flush with the frame and pinch weld just like an included car jack does. With that said, on some vehicles it's hard to find a perfect fit as a lot are universal fit. Either way is fine, just be careful if you have one that is only touching the pinch weld that its not also bending your pinch weld as you jack the vehicle up.

I did briefly show one at 4:19, however they would not be my first choice. The reason is sometimes they have the tendency to damage or bend the pinch weld because a regular jack stand contact point is narrow which increases chances of damage to the pinch weld (especially on older cars with rust). The wider the contact surface is on the jack stand the better as it will distribute the weight across the pinch weld which decreases the chance of damage.
