The Cairngorms 4000's - A circuit of the Scottish Munros over 4000 ft in the Cairngorms National Park.
Cairn Gorm 1245m
Ben Macdui 1309m
Cairn Toul 1291m
Sgor an Lochain Uaine 1258m
Braeriach 1296m
Plus 'The Devils Point' thrown in for luck. 35km's over two days with one night camping.
Day 1: 15km / 909m acsent / 977m descent
Day 2: 21.4km /1296m ascent / 1385m descent
Total: 36.4km / 2205m ascent / 2362m descent
Overnight camp at the Corrour Bothy, in the Lairig Ghru.

Very useful guide to the route very well filmed. Please what was the date of the walk? Widesoread snow still lying. .thx for posting.

Thanks for your comments. It was filmed on the 3rd May this year. The majority of the snow will now have melted, there may just be very small patches around in some of the more sheltered areas.

I printed a black and white 1:50000 Ordnance Survey map of the area, as my main map for navigating. I had a full colour Harvey 1:25000 map in my rucksack and my wife was carrying a 1:25000 Ordnance Survey, neither of which we needed to use.
