It’s one of the best sports cars you can buy. When I test drove my 2017 SS 1LE I said what the hell is this thing lol. Go test drive one, on a curvy road fast. The suspension, steering and Brembo 6 piston brakes are top notch.

I just bought a 2SS 1LE 2022 After having a 5th Gen ZL1, my original plan was to 6th Gen ZL1, for a few style reasons I struggled with the new ZL1 look. The wheels and rear spoiler to name a few. My 1LE just had the look and options I wanted, I thought I might miss the boost but it’s 1LE is such a balanced driving car.

Just got my 2023 delivered last week. I love it. I cant believe how good the 1LE handles.

I agree those are the BEST looking wheels for the Camaro. I got the Black LT1 and ordered the MRR replica SS1LE wheels with Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires for driving below 40 degrees here in the northeast.

what makes the 1LE feel different from the base SS/2SS: Front ride link and handling link bushings, stiffer bushings in 3 pairs of control arms in the rear, thicker sways, lowered, stiffer springs and matching Magride programming, stiffer rear kuckles, eLSD. That's it. You can retro fit everything to a base SS with parts from GM on a Magride equipped SS, other than the eLSD and PTM. You can make a base SS handle BETTER and feel BETTER than a SS 1LE. BUT its gonna cost you MORE than just getting a 1LE. The only suspension mods I think are absolutely necessary on a SS1LE are the rear cradle lockouts(BMR) and rear lower control arms(SPL or BMR, I'd replace the flimsy trailing arms while I'm at it). It transforms the feel of the rear under power with some steering angle. The rear can feel loose and out of control during quick direction changes and there can be wheel hop under heavy acceleration on both the base SS and SS 1LE. These two mods solve those issues. Its a must for any SS regardless of 1LE package.

RCF told y’all, this the BEST looking Camaro you can get! I know he ain’t lying because I got one 😂 The naturally aspirated engine won me over. You don’t see too many NA V8 on the road anymore. Next mod i would get is the led side marker lights. They look 10x better. I just installed them on my 2018 SS 1le.

I'm very happy with the 2SS, but I'm looking to upgrade the wheels to 1LE replicas or 2014 Z28 replicas. Not only is it the wheel style, but the wheel size is much better than the normal SS. This car NEEDS 305's in the back. Would have made more sense to just start with the 1LE. No regrets really though.

I think labeling a 3,900 pound car a 'Sports Car' is inaccurate. It'd most definitely a 'Pony Car'. I love the 6th gen Camaro, but it's too big and heavy to be called a Sports Car.

I think if G.M. would lower the CEOs wadges a few million a year that they could keep making the Camaro and keep many jobs for America!!

Sorry sir - these are nice, but definitely not better than a zl1. I traded this exact car for zl1 actually because the ss didn’t feel like it had enough power. Keep in mind we are in 2023 where 4 seconds to 60 is average

Those 1le are slow as hell specially manual. If you want to do rolls race I will go auto for regular ss for small brakes. They are good just for car and coffee ☕️ my boyyy
