This is what I use right now (Raid Pro) and plug in with 7.1 with - Microlab X2 (as centre and sub) - Creative T40 (as front) - Edifier G2000 (as side) - Creative Stage V2 (as rear) and I must say it wasn't for music or that environment sound for relaxing at all, but for the game it was awesome and movie is so damn fantastic
Did some research and noted this Sonic Studio software does not have 'FlexBass' which allows user to redirect the bass to your your subwoofer in a 5.1/7.1 setup. (For example, playing a stereo music track with Flexbass, you can get bass directed to the subwoofer, with Flexbass off : no bass is sent to the subwoofer, thus making the music listening experience very poor.
I watched your video a few days ago and it gave me the idea to swap the op amp on my small Douk Audio U3 headphone amp. Its fitted with the TI-NE5532. I use it with my motherboards Alc1200 as I felt the onboard audio didn't have enough oomph. I was able to buy the LME49720NA Op amp in the review really cheap (less than 1 euro on lazada) and try it out. What a surprise as I didn't think I'd notice any difference. It really does add something more than the default fitted op amp. Also, the Douk Audio U3 is worth a review as its really cheap, around 27 euros and looks great if you only need to enhance the onboard audio.

I'm using a Strix Raid DLX in the last 3-4 years. I got it used, but full package. It is a realy good gamers card, but sounds good with music too. Unfortunately there is no more driver support for Win11. The Knob is not working anymore under Win11. Also the card is not recognized by the software, if i let the PC sleep. A restart is needed to get it back operational.
Interesting, I am seeing this soundcard on a auction website and the reasoning for selling, sounds 1:1 to your problems. Soundcard is seen as USB driver after PC goes to "sleep". Is the problem only on Win11? and after a restart on win11 it should work right? If so I might get a good deal ay XD (win10 user). I am very happy that you read this and if you have a bit of your time, I am thanking for your reply.
Dear friend, I have a problem with my card and I believe it is an audio conflict, the sound keeps disappearing and returning when I am opening tabs in Intent or Explore, do you know what it could be?
I use Asus strix raid dlx and Asus essence stx ii, with Philips fidelio x3 headphones. Asus Stx 2 should be better, but for some reason Asus Strix Raid DLX seems to have a wider stage and the bass is clearer. As someone who has tried two cards, what do you think?

I sold my mint condition AE-9 in spring 2023 to another EU country >200€ and got more money, than I paid. Even my Soar was hard to get (I usually buy used).

@@ridvan190333 I´m not sure, if I prefer AE-9 or STX II, but STX II sounds alright. The op amps change the sound signature. The Burson V5 sound the nost pleasant to me. But I don´t have the rf shield. I really need to make one to shield gpu (vrm) noise. Probably for the daughterboard as well. But I don´t know, how a rf shield should look like.
