A very melancholy song by The Cars, "Drive" was written from the perspective of a guy who's watching a woman (who he presumably used to date) "going down the tubes," trying to get her to take a hard look at what's going on in her life.
"Drive" became The Cars' highest charting single in the United States, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart; on the Adult Contemporary chart, the song went to No. 1
I searched through hours of video footage, trying to find the right clips to put together, that would relay this song visually. This is what I come up with. Hope you all enjoy it.
