He probably said he had sex addiction and asked her to cuff him. It doesn’t matter what went on with them really. Their relationship was over so she should have changed her number , work place and address so she wouldn’t get harassed. Relationships need to be ended like a surgery. Also best not to give your location to your boo because it’s a risk of you getting harassed after it ends.

The detective said the car was pristine. No sign of a struggle. It appeared Heather left the car with her phone, purse, and wallet, and (according to the detective,) “[it] waited for her to come back, but she never did.” The car was also searched before her father took it home. The car being found was actually what made her father report Heather as a missing. Oh, and not only did the security cameras capture Sidney & Tammy cleaning the truck, but burning the rags. Totally normal behavior. And there IS evidence of a murder, but it was not permitted to be called such in court (as it was no longer a charge.) In the 2019 trial, Sidney’s cousin testified that after the disappearance he saw a photo of Heather on Sidney’s phone. They were not allowed to say she appeared to be dead, so the prosecutor asked, “Having seen that photo, do you believe that the Elvis family will ever see Heather again?” To which the cousin replied, “No.” These people are awful and right where they should be.

It's easier to be angry at someone you don't know than someone you know well. You excuse those you know and love easier than a stranger who hurts you or your family. It's human nature. I understand the feeling of loathing and hatred for the woman who came in and tried to/did destroy your home/family. In my eyes, both my ex-husband and his ladylove's actions were scummy. It was years ago, and I'm happy to have moved on, but my son grew up without a father. I struggled as a single mother. SHE knew he was married with a baby and yet went ahead. HE saw a pretty single girl flirting with him and longed for a life of "freedom and fun" rather than the "responsibility" of a wife and baby. SHE cheated with a married man after meeting his wife and baby. HE was a married man who broke his vows instead of remaining loyal to his wife (mother of his CHILD!) and new baby. Both pretty scummy. My emotions towards her were just anger, towards him, hurt and betrayal primarily, anger secondarily. I didn't have any desire to harm either of them. I had a baby to raise. That was my focus.

From another recorded interview, Heather's mom said that Heather went to high school with Stephen and they had reconnected on social media. So this was not just some social media hookup. Also, that date night had been dinner, movie at mom's where he lived, then, Xmas lights and stick shift training. So with him, Heather was just a young girl hanging out. Pregnancy may have begun to bring her back to reality. Unfortunately that new life was the beginning of the end for Heather, thanks to the murderous pair, Psycho Tammy and the Cheater (second affair, at least).

Really not digging how Tammy claimed she didn't care about Sidney having extramarital relations, but then in the exact same Facebook post, calling her a psycho wh*re and a h*e. She says she doesn't care an awful lot of times for someone who can't shut up about the woman her husband cheated on her with. Heather should probably not have pursued a man she knew was married, but Tammy and Sidney Moorer killed her after she stopped seeing him. They're exactly where they belong. Rest in peace, Heather.

@Dustin Wind There's no reason to be disgusted with yourself. This channel, and others like it* are incredibly useful for keeping the victims' stories alive, which is hugely important. They have to be entertaining to a degree, or hardly anyone would watch them. If it was just a series of facts, with a mawkish or morose delivery, they would still be interesting to some, but nowhere near the numbers @That Chapter draws. Humour in the videos tends to follow the same pattern - sarcasm or shade aimed at the accused or convicted, (or occasionally at the police, lawyers or the judicial system) - never at the victims, who are treated with respect, while Mike also throws in the unexpected witty quip, (the robot gag for instance.) without overdoing it or coming off as crass or disrespectful. The true crime genre is incredibly popular for a reason - people will always be interested in the psychology of serious crime - it allows us to enter into a World we'd want to keep at a distance, and for good reason - it certainly doesn't make us bad, disturbed or depraved - merely curious. The mere fact that you've asked the question shows that you are a decent, caring person, and that these stories affect you - you've got nothing to be concerned about. *When I say "others like it", I mean others in the true crime genre - I don't mean that Mike is following a pattern or that there are many others of this quality. There are other excellent channels, but Mike has hit upon a fantastic formula.

@@akairiko3366 read my original comment again. It's not right that it happened but living a certain type of life leads to certain consequences. We all have options to make choices. Those choices lead to action resulting in consequences and effects. Normally you wouldn't expect to get killed after having an affair but that possibility is always there. So why put yourself at risk? Running with cartels doesn't always lead to death but can lead to death for some. Both are risky choices, so if there is a negative outcome no-one should be surprised. Stop making excuses for shitty behaviour. We don't live in a utopia, and at the age of 20 both her and that man knew right from wrong. So did the wife whom most likely contributed to her death. As they say, water finds it's own level/birds of a feather flock together. It's possible to be a victim and responsible for being in that situation due to your own choices.

If you leave your door unlocked the chance of someone stealing from you increases. If you on top of that spread the word that you normally leave your house unlocked the chance of theft from your house increases tenfold. In a picture perfect world no one would be tempted to steal from you, but that is a dream scenario.

Yikes… they for sure had something to do with her disappearance. Seems like one of those cases where you don’t really get any closure unfortunately but I’m glad they were able to put them both away and get some sort of justice.

I’ve lived in the same town as them almost all of my life. When she went missing it was the second time in recent years that a high profile young girl went missing and was never to be seen again, the first being Brittanee Drexel. My friends and I parents didn’t let us go anywhere for a while. I remember when they raided their house while searching for Heather, it happened really early in the morning on our bus route off of hwy 814 for school. You would have thought it was a terrorist hiding out with the amount of police officers that showed up. They tore up their entire yard and searched the RV instantly, they made us turn our bus around and take another route to get to school because it was in plain view.

You're so so right. And, even if he genuinely didn't care for Heather, bless her, to (more than likely) kill his own child, I hope he thinks about it every day for the rest of his life. Sounds like he led her on a treat. Such a shame. Such a gorgeous young lady, with everything ahead of her.

Watching this I had to keep sending energy to Heather because she must've been terrified. Not hard to believe that she went to meet Sydney because she was pregnant. If she's gone, I hope it was quick.
