I still think Yang can do well. He can clearly beat a man but he needs to bulk up (he does get thrown around) and improve his situational awareness (e.g. not standing several yards offside).

Great podcast. Says a lot about squad size that it needs to be in 2 parts! Never a good sign for a player if his name being said is greeted by laughter from the fans 😂 And an Efrain Juarez mention…now that was astonishingly brilliant (which I believe was used by M ON to describe a performance from us in a game we lost at Ibrox)

If it was marks out of ten then I'd say we're about a 6/10 so far this season. Winning those last 4 league games on the bounce prior to the break has tipped us in to "pass marks" territory. But up until mid December, I'd say our season was very poor. Even in games that we won, we were not good to watch etc.... Must do better

We're always very quick to give off about not having any domestic/home grown talent but just as quick to write off the Irish/Scottish talent that we do have in Scales & Ralston

@@20MinuteTims I agree but in Scales' case, how long can he continue to perform before we admit we have no idea how high his ceiling is? Also Ralston is a better crosser of the ball than Johnston, god bless

Ralston and Johnstone are of a comparable level which highlights how disappointing Johnstone has been. I agree Scales has been excellent

Does Rodger's extreme reluctance to play a player not at the level (your reference to Kwon and Karamoko Dembele) apply to his own son Anton?!! There has never been a satisfactory explanation as to why Rodgers had the authority and audacity to play his own son pre season at the expense of a registered player.

Everyone laughed when i said berniebhoy is a good player if he got a good run ..he was outstanding v hibs won the most tackles on the pitch most passes outstanding just needs confidence.. Norwich boy is the next moussa wait and see ..needed a striker like him for years a unit that can dribble hold up play shoot keep calm and all round good player ..kyogo is limited with his size like oh is just there to muscle folk up but isnt a dribbler ...let the good times roll again

The squad is still mainly suited to Ange. MON & Strachan (in their primes) would fare no better than Rodgers currently is. Hopefully over time Rodgers gets his own players in and makes the squad his own again.

It’s time for Celtic to seriously consider joining the European Super league. Do you not think that Sky (RangersTv) stifle the game in Scotland and Celtic. Sky are doing a great job in giving this club zero coverage very little money and now doing separate tv deals with Rangers! Time to cut ties with the our Murdoch broadcasting masters ,

The ESL doesn't exist. Also, if it did exist, there's every chance that our "Murdoch broadcasting masters" would be the ones televising it. The good news is, the huns & Sky have now set the precedent for clubs doing their own separate TV deals. So what is to stop Celtic doing our own TV deal with BT. Amazon, Viaplay.... or whoever? This is what we should now be exploring

We are part controlled by Sky (Murdoch) who is quite happy to keep us well down the pecking order when it comes to media coverage. What you see now is the way it’s always going to be financially, same story every year, can’t compete in Europe and the sky money keeps us there, they have us just where they want us!

Regarding the level of the A-league, as I live here I can tell you its the worst professional league in the world. It actually has a 5 month off-season (the longest in the world officially) so technically its semi-pro although they pay pro wages. As of today its on the verge of total collapse as 75% of the staff running the league have been shown the door. The Australian national team are dreadful and lack any technical ability and creativity, they struggled to defeat India (ranked 101st) the other day and Tilio is a national team player. The former Celtic manager left the country because he realised it was a lost cause. Rugby League is the main game.
