I dont think I have ever seen anyone doing train / tube vids actually mention not feeling safe at a station. I appreciate your honesty in all things. Keep staying authentic. Love to you as well

those are the last remnants of the old Hollinwood station, they survived because they are part of the bridge over the road so demolition would require a new bridge so cheaper to leave in place as-is and fence it off

brilliant im like all the stops between Manchester & Oldham King St and i quite like this line & ive only ridden this route twice once last year and the year before and its great to have this series back keep up the awesome work

I completed this line today (probably somewhat foolish to do it on a Sunday, but I didn't have to wait too long usually). My rule for collecting tram stops is that I have to enter or leave the stop for some valid purpose. I can't just go through the stop, or change there (or just get off and on again). Since I was unlikely to get the rest of them (I had Rochdale Town Centre, Rochdale Railway Station, Oldham Mumps, and Oldham Central already, plus the Zone 1 stops of course) on this line naturally, by having places to go nearby, I walked part of the line. I got the tram to the furthest one I hadn't collected yet (Newbold), then walked back to Kingsway Business Park, then tram to Milnrow, then walked to Newhey, etc. Though I did stop at Oldham Central again anyway, to go to Sainsburys (shockingly, they have no toilet there!), which also made it line up nicely at the end of the route, so I could just get on the tram at the final stop I needed (Monsall) and go home (I live on the other end of that line; the East Didsbury half). It was 12 miles walking altogether.

Brilliant video Jen, I've been for a ride on this part of the network and it's a nice tramline, would be nice if more remains from when it was part of the national rail network were still around though.

Rochdale as on the signs is a rather nice canal.

I am a bit confused. My wife and are are visiting Manchester shortly, staying near St. Peter's Square. We will then travel over to Liverpool, leaving from Victora Railway Station Using Google Maps, taking the pink 'tram' from St Peter's Square it says to get off at Exchange Square, then walk to the station. This seems strange, surely the tram goes to the station. Funily, if I reverse the route, it does show the tram starting at Victoria and ending at St. Peter's

I can still taste that damn coffee.

This is why I want to go to Manchester to ride on the Metrolink.

Hi Jen and Brynn, Great video again, I to have ridden that line, I can understand fully your feeling of being unsafe at places like Failsworth... I cannot understand the mentality of prats that go around smashing things up and spoiling other peoples public property. What was it about Failsworth that caused you to not feel safe? I tend to feel like Newton Heath feels worse.

Question, what are the faster Manchester Metrolink or Docklands Light Railway . I get the feeling I can get about Docklands quicker than trying to get around the Manchester Tram Routes.
