Men can easily shake off enmeshment but culture makes it very difficult for women. After completing your book on MEM, I'm now reading 'Silently Seduced', an enlightening book on how enmeshment ensues.

Thank you for your valuable insights and great work, your information helps me a lot. In your recent webinar about copendency versus enmeshment, you mentioned maybe also doing one about comparing enmeshment with trauma bond. I would be very interested in that, as I believe my situation (as well as that of my sibling) is both combined. Also, I'd like to mention that mother-daughter enmeshment can feel very icky, too, so not only with mother-son enmeshment that you refer to in other podcasts. as in, certain implicit and explicit boundary crossing into surrogate or intimate partner like expectations that are put on the child.
