They a lso played after Janis Joplin there cocerts were great I saw them alot back inthe day rember las Vegas nd the flight To Los Angles and saw them out there were I met alot of people thru knowing them remember playing at the circus circus nyc and I passed to listen to the cow bell and the music to Time has come today lester and Joe yes I am still a fan Dolly

Actually they came on right before Hendrix no matter they were the best I remember the scene like it was yesterday, yes they got us in a frenzy and each time they would build it higher...they played through the rain, and every flare they would build it higher till everyone was going crazy, yes they were the best of the whole festival!

Had the honor of seeing them at Villanova University 1970, first a white group named Goliath open up and they jammed, when they finished the Chambers Brothers started getting up, they where in the audience spread all over, the crowd went off and they played so good, they did three encores. One of the best concerts.

I was there when they played in parsippany, n.j., brought the house down. The sound was etherially perfect!

Hoped this would be film/video. Bombs bursting in air, fireworks going off everywhere. What a festival!

They came on right behind Hendrix. They would build the crowd up and when they had us in a frenzy they would shoot off a flare out over our heads and laugh like hell. It was great, they were better than everybody.

They played before Jimi. Lee Michaels was after Jimi. I could not get close to the stage during The Chambers Brothers or Jimi but could pretty much walk up for Lee Michaels and Frosty.

That album, 3 record set of the Atlanta Pop Festival & Isle or Wright Festival that came out in the early 70's was one of the best ever! I don't think it was ever released on CD, which is shameful, dare I say, the music was even better than the Woodstock album??
