It's horrifying to hear them say they'll pull their kid out of school to have "an extra set of hands" my mother used my extra pair of hands when she had enough kids to fund her lifestyle on social assistance, but too many to care for on her own. When we got taken by child protection services the term "parentified" was used many times. It's a real thing and it is abuse.

There was just a case in Ohio about a 10 y/o rape victim and when she tried to get an abortion she was told no because this could be a "learning experience". What goddamn learning experience?? This is traumatic, the only learning experience is that this pro-life is complete bullshit. Thank goodness she got an abortion in Indiana but I was reading the comments and it was absolute disgusting when I read a certain comment, it was "The poor girl was only 10!" and then a disgusting monster responded "So what?"

My mother worked in a pregnancy center going into it thinking it was a great service provided for underprivileged pregnant people. She lasted less than a year because she realized that pregnancy centers sole goal is to force women to keep their babies and not provide any support after the age of 2. She witnessed women coming in with children they felt they were forced to keep by the pregnancy center and do not want them, cannot handle being mothers, and are in no position to provide basic needs for their infants. It was a very eye opening experience for her.

I remember a book called 'Please Don't Shoot My Dog.' It was an autobiography of Jackie Cooper. He called it that after an incident as a child when he was supposed to cry on set and couldn't so they pretended to kill his dog to help. Nice to know that sick %^&* like that still live.

I had an ectopic pregnancy at 20 years old. I couldn't imagine a doctor telling me that I was going to be forced to try to carry. I would have died.

It's weird how it is only MEN, GROWN MEN are the ones deciding for other peoples bodys (women with the capability of getting pregnant)! Even in the documentary, Savannah does not say much, just nods her head and listens, while Cole is speaking about the sensitive subjet as if he experianced it!

I like how anti-choicers love to describe details of the abortion procedures as graphically as possible (and usually incorrectly) to make it sound bad, as if graphically describing the details of any medical procedure doesn't make them also sound horrific. Sometimes (most of the time) medical procedures and care aren't pretty, that doesn't make them immoral or mean they shouldn't be done. Getting cut open is gory, its scary, but it can save your life.

I’m honestly horrified at the tweets about rape and abortion. Pausing to read them, he explicitly says he would encourage his 12 year old daughter to keep the baby if she got pregnant from rape and would raise the baby like his own IF she didn’t WANT to raise it. As someone who had to actually evacuate during the California wildfires, that is nothing to joke about. My grandma had recently rebuilt her house after a house fire and getting the news of evacuating was terrifying for her. Luckily we didn’t lose our houses and we all were safe but that was a scary moment for everyone and shouldn’t have been exploited.

So they publicly stated they were removing their young child out of school to help out with housework and childcare? I'm hoping that something like that would warrant a CPS visit but I'm guessing not

I hope everleigh grows up and turns out okay after all of this. There’s not like an overall notion of how exposure to internet exposure impacts these children, so there’s no way to gauge how this will really impact her later on. These poor kids are being exploited by their parents and can’t even do anything about it.

They did decide to homeschool Ev. Now she doesn’t even get those few school hours of privacy. The only reason I would ever watch them now is just checking that Ev is okay. Not to sit on her (because wtf), but just seeing how she is. As someone who has mental health issues, so I can identify those kinds of things. I used to watch this channel until I realized everything. I hope those kids will be okay. It upsets me so much that I used to support these people.

I think the ‘prank’ actually shows a really interesting facet of this pair’s thinking. There’s no way I, and I think most people, would understand that this was too much and we couldn’t do it to our child - our love and EMPATHY would not let us do it. What kills me is that if they genuinely needed an “extra set of hands” to help with the younger kids They could easily hire a nanny or au pair who has gone to school and has been trained on proper childcare methods. But instead they decided sacrifice the education of their 9 year old to child so she can be a trad-wife in training all the while her parents try and squeeze more content out of her than they could’ve if she was away in school 6 hours a day. It’s so sick. This poor baby deserves a bit of normalcy. She deserves a break from the cameras and content and upload schedules. School could have been one of the only places she truly had any peace and they took that away from her. My heart truly hurts for her.

I usually stop watching the video if a channel criticizing family vlogs ends up perpetuating the cycle of exploitation by not respecting the children’s right to privacy and using them to boost their own views. I had an abortion about 10 years ago (in Australia, for free in a hospital) after a drunken one night stand. One thing a lot of anti-abortion people never seem to realise is that a lot of my decision was made thinking about what a crappy life that fetus would have. I was not capable of giving that kid a happy stable life, I am not capable of giving myself that. Why would I want to inflict that on someone else? It's not an easy decision either. People thinking women run around having 70 abortions a year or something it's just so untrue. It's a shit decision, but it was the right one. For it and for me.

My stomach sank when he talked about Everleigh’s demographic and just how many grown men are watching that poor little girl. I was actually evacuated during the fires in 2018 (about 3 hours north of SF) and was stuck out for 5 days. It was a extremely stressful time, and I know friends and family who physically had to run from flames. Really disgusting for them to take advantage. Oh! Dad challenge podcast is GREAT

I was horrified during half the video, than we got in the "click bait cancer" thing. I saw cancer kill my 9 years old brother, my family change city and stopped their lives just to be there, to take care of him for months, to see he turn from a playful child to a thin pale body in vegetative state, I stopped studying to get into a university and started learning all the exercises and treatments the hospital staff was using, so I could help my brother 2am when he couldn't breath. That's so, so horrible, how could someone do a click bait about it? Just how?????

As someone who was on the older side of their audience (I am 18 now. Stopped watching them after the Abortion documentary). I mainly watched cause the idea of having such a perfect family was nice & I was genuinely entertained. Yet cracks started to show in their family. Abortion is a very hard topic to talk about due to it being something traumatic for me & even my mom. My mom was forced by a boyfriend to get an abortion & when she had her next kid who died she thought she was cursed. Then kid after that a guy tried to force her to get an abortion & the guys father offered money cause my mom needed to abort to save this man's future. Anyways my mom took the money & still had the baby. Another guy who she married ended up on the birth certificate instead. Anyways I was a project of the 2nd marriage. My mom thought of aborting me due to her being domestically r@ped. Tbh I understand, I am not mad after finding out I would've chose to personally. Eventually I got r@ped & had an abortion. So many people, even the doctors & nurses were all encouraging me to keep my baby. I didn't want to though, I was 14 & extremely mentally ill. I was not ready for that & kept going. Having an abortion was a traumatic experience but it was the better decision. I am with a guy now & we've talked about kids a lot & agreed we don't want kids anytime soon but eventually we do. Edit: I am mainly pro situation. Depends on the situation. However in the end if it's not me than it doesn't matter.

I have a family member who would’ve literally died had she not terminated her pregnancy (that she desperately wanted). There was zero way for her to safely carry the child to term. She would’ve died, leaving her three other children alone without a mother. Would Cole want Savannah to die and leave all her other children, for a pregnancy that wasn’t viable anyways?

I’ve never understood the appeal of family channels. The idea of exploiting your children’s privacy for content never sat right with me. Along with the parent’s claiming, “I provided a roof over your head, I put food on your table, you have to listen to me.” Guilt tripping ALSO never sat well with me.

I’m a single mother by choice (meaning I used a sperm donor to conceive). I was 36 when I had her. I have a secure job and own a home. I have a massive support system, including my mother who was able to quit her job to stay at home with my daughter while I work. I make enough to support everyone in my family. I have top tier healthcare for me and my child. And raising a child is STILL HARD. I couldn’t imagine trying to do it unplanned or if I didn’t want to be a mother or if I was financially insecure. I LOVE my baby. I desperately wanted one and would have never had an abortion. I would also NEVER vote to take away another woman’s right to her body, and honestly, to her life and future.

Watching them talk about taking a nine year old out of school so she can care for a baby is just heartbreaking. A child should not have to take on parental responsibility. It's parentification (when a child is made to take on parental or adult responsibilities and/or provide support for a parent/sibling) and can have long lasting effects on that child. It's awful how many people don't recognise how important it is that children are able to enjoy childhood, not worry about things they shouldn't have to, and have the best chance at a healthy development!

Isn’t there a law that a fetus isn’t legally a living human until it takes their first breath? I do find it saddening but if say for example a 17 year old somehow were to get pregnant from her highschool boyfriend, is she obligated to give up her education her dreams and spend her youth struggling to provide with her family if the father sticks around? I understand abortion is scary but do you want you child to grow up in those bad conditions?
