At MIchigan, shift to 4th entering turns and you won’t get as tight and maintain 175-180ish and let autoshift to 5th. I haven’t tried at Fontana yet. Should work the same.
I went to revisit this game with the 22 update. On Xbox, it’s still almost impossible to control. It turns left on it’s own on the back and front stretch, and when you try to go right and get into line it turns too far right. So annoying

I got that Player Driver glitch in career mode 21. Plus, I have drivers and teams being doubled, so I’m in 64th position right now. Also, Windows Defender blocked something from Entertainment Ltd.? It came up as a pop up and asked me if I wanted to allow it access. I have screenshots, but not sure what to do.
@@thesonic2423 Yeah it sucks we don't exactly have any great NASCAR games. Heat 5 is probably the best, ignition looks the best but plays terribly, and Rivals is basically just heat 5 with bad graphics and the only one you can do a career mode with the next gen cars
I can't believe the stupid caution bug is still here after a YEAR. It doesn't even matter what all they fixed because that issue still makes it unplayable in my opinion. I naively thought Rivals would be fine since it's essentially Heat 6, but on release day I lost all progress in career after signing to Penske because it crashes every time I try to continue. I even reset my career and it still crashes when I try to start a new one. Wtf Motorsport Games. Completely incompetent.
@@jj9487 because they want rival and dlc for heat 5 to sell also I'm a modder from this videos release to when the update came our their was no way to have a mod made in time for this career mode unless you were handed a custom version of the game by the company
I still have the old cars for the Nascar 21 ignition for the Xbox one and every time I restart a season I get the cars from last season and I haven't gotten the new gen cars yet for the career mode for the Xbox one
How do you race the next gen cars in career mode? Because I tried starting a new season in career mode and it would only let me do the 2021 season still.
You're doing it all wrong the way you drive in ignition . You have to overtake with the play on the outside. I need few laps on Champ without driving aids to overtake them all.
I thought the same until my career mode broke. The game crashes every time I tried to load it, then continued to crash every time after I reset progress.
