While on tour in support of their new album, "War and Rumors of War", THE CHARIOT stopped to talk with BareBonesMusic.com about their album, the meaning of their songs, new band members and much more. Plus you will see some outrageous live performance footage! What I love most about this band is it is basically metalcore... but at the same time its not.... a lot of metalcore artists sound SO MUCH THE SAME... but NOT the Chariot, this is why they are My favorite band right next to As Cities Burn... I love how set on freedom they are, I share the same need for freedom and the need to go Crazy while worshipping the Lord

to the people with issues regarding their faith... why? would you be complaining if they were talking about Buddhism or referencing New Age ideas/themes? I doubt it. seems like people claim to be all about freedom, free speech and whatever, but when it comes to Christianity, "hey! stop shoving it down our throats!" ...but they aren't. they're just being real and honest. they're also the most intense and crazy live show I've ever seen.

the drummer david kennedy used to be in a really awesome local georgia band called the rein and stevis was the vocalist of written in red also an amazing georgia local both are broken up now obviously

Maybe The Lord wants him to be happy? That could have been what he meant? So he can be happier playing hard and on stage with The Chariot, than in the chruch soft and not really express himself.
