@@SlowHaste so far I’m loving it! I was wondering between the gen loss and habit but decided to go lo-fi and stereo. Maybe they will release a stereo habit as well.
Haha I’d probably agree! If you’re into the wonky sound, there are lots of cool vibrato pedals out there. Also, multi-effects are great tools to start learning about what kind of stuff you like :)
Hey! I’ve actually only been messing with it on the Minilogue - Digitakt is up next for processing a whole beat. I haven’t seen Ricky’s vid yet, so I’ll have to go give that a watch and see
This kinda reminds me of the AberrantDSP plug-ins. Have you tried Digitalis? Not a pedal obviously but a very cool plugin inspired by early digital sounds.
The Sketch Cassette 2 is pretty neat, and you could grab 4 or 5 plugins for around 100$ish, but the one thing I can get in a plugin is the different types of saturation that sounds as good as the Gen Loss mkii, and to some people, that may not be a huge deal.
I haven’t experienced it! Just reading up on it now though, and it sounds like it can be more perceivable at extreme settings (and likely on guitar where the transient is more integral to the character of the sound).
