Of all the questions they got wrong this one made me want to throw my phone. You literally have a 50/50 shot at getting it right even if you don’t know the answer - so long as you have a 6 year old’s understanding of colors. Brown?... BROWN??
She probably even thought it good for the team's moral, the show has to try to attract 'celebrities' rather than make them worry they'll look like idiots. David Haye himself was a boxer, as Anne knew, so conceding points there was to her and the shows benefit as he couldn't possibly loose that point.
+Harry Drake Sometimes if there are 3 possible answers the chaser will pass as giving an incorrect answer will leave a 50/50 chance for the opponents. E.g. In this case, the opponents were so stupid I don't know why she didn't just take a punt.
+Gus Flannagan I'm guessing you didn't watch the clip, the possible answers weren't given, so given the nth degree there were serveral possibles. Actually only 2 likely and a highly probable guess at russian
+Harry Drake The answer is going to either be American or Russian too - everyone should know about the space race between those two countries... especially the old biddy who would have grown up in the times watching such news reports on the TV!
+essengeebee Shaun Wallace = The Dark Destroyer Paul Sinha = The Sinnerman Anne Hegerty = The Governess Mark Labbett = The Beast Jenny Ryan = The Vixen :)
David Guthary Sure, but how many moons could an average person name? Someone with decent astronomy knowledge could maybe name half a dozen, but I’m willing to bet most people would only be able to name the Moon.
They probably did get some competent celebrities in, but they went for the big money and got caught. At least that's usually how the bad ones end up alone in the final chase.
3:01 "Let's hope that the governess has fallen down the back of the set" was the funniest thing Bradley has ever said after a seemingly funny but terribe final chase! 🤣
RockBandAddict666 I still think there aren't that many people who realize how hard it is for a player on their own especially if they're not the strongest player on their team, even all the Chasers know that because they're professionals.
That's very true. To be honest, I'd still be tempted to call this the worst, purely because they answered less questions correctly than the unfortunate woman yesterday.
I just realized the question asked for PRIMARY color! They had 50/50 chance to guess between Yellow and Blue, and they went for BROWN!!! Wow, that's not even trying.
CrowMercury ....I'm thinking of the primary colours of light, which differs to pigments. God this brings back memories of doing colours in science class..
Well, that happened. They almost had more thousands than correct answers, too bad it was for charity, so I can't even feel good they got humiliated. SPOILERS: Miracles happen, they winning...was not even possible with that.
Mirko Miočić from Croatian version of The Chase is Encyclopedia Britannica for all chasers from this show!Watch him! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iTemci3s9LQ.html
Marryo Bakotin See, I dunno... I kinda think Dean is stronger than him? I've seen Mirko lose to lower targets more often. They're all brilliant though, Morana too!
'Still can't get over the fact that David James passed on "which Italian professional football team is known as Juve?" when he is a professional footballer..' No that is David Haye who is a boxer
I think they make the questions easier if they figure out you're totally lost. I mean common "How many corners does a triangle have?". at 1:30 Is that a real question. That's a NURSERY question
mradam4831 And they still can't answer them. Anne got a question involving primary colors, of which there are three. She guessed wrong, which should have given the celebrities a 50/50 shot. Then they guess "brown".
I remember a woman called elaine who took on the chaser Mark Labett, took 18 steps by herself and won £7000 and 7 steps from 2 people Elaine almost tripled that!
They didn't look like they were under a lot of pressure. They were taking their sweet time on the answers and didn't seem to care a lot that they got them wrong. There seemed to be an astonishing lack of enthusiasm from those two.
William Goodwin It's hard to say how someone will respond to stress in an environment like this. It's easy for me to sit in the comfort of my home and get every question right. Doing so with the pressure of the timer and the audience is a different matter.
6:18 I can forgive them for being stumped on a lot questions but answering a question containing "which primary colour" with "brown" is absolutely inexcusable!
