None of your sisters or your friends are here. But then you hear a door opening above you, hoping that it was a friend. And it is. You are now controlling one of the following options: Splash woman, metal sonic, nikuo kunagi and zhao-long, seraph woman, arieta, ice man, zenaida, kalinka, morrigan and Lilith, sonic shadow and silver, or lulu. The chemical theme here just relates to acids/toxins/any types of chemics. Toad man is a toad, that emits acid, and live in a sewer, which could be a place for any sort of sludge/poisonous materials, and overall he is a toad, as there can be the toxic based toads in real life. Burst man is very clear that he ia chemical. His stage is a chemical plant, he was meant to be guarding that place, but wily made him a combat robot that instead of utilizing his chemical weaponary to guard or help the chemical plant, he uses them to kill you as a player.
