Dam sir people keep stealing from your store. I would politely talk to them in a dignified manner. If they refuse your kindness then I would detain them by force. Ultimately it's up to the thief. It could be peaceful and no cops involved. Or it could be the opposite.
It's a way for them to disassociate from what they have done, they convince themselves that way and become aggressive as if the accusers are the bad ones for any suggesting the crime. They are idiots
Many people have become oblivious to cameras over the years. At the drive thru I work at, there are obvious cameras outside (to take pictures of the vehicles) and the customers always question how we know which is which when they pull up to the window.
I grew up in the Bronx and had a few friends who worked at gas stations. They would have softball sized rocks placed strategically on top of each pump behind the gas price sign. This was before the digital price readouts right on the pump. If they stole, they were almost guaranteed a broken rear window or a nice sized dent in the rear of their car when they drove off. Keep the videos coming, love the narration.

I started feeling the same way going into my gas station. But I'm just nice and can't help but look up at the counter to say hello to the clerk. I'm also a regular and they know me. I feel it would be rude not to say hello. Also nowadays it doesn't matter if your a regular or not people just can't always be trusted.
I hear yah. I live a block away from a busy convenience store, I am there almost everyday.. and I take forever deciding on my snacks. Lol, they know I am a regular and they don't care how long I take. I am certain these dudes know immediately if it's a theif
I swear that every time I'm walking around a gas station now looking for something, I hear your damn voice in my head narrating every freaking move I make from watching these videos at work so much lol...I started laughing out loud at myself the other day because it happened once again while walking around the grocery store, and some of the employees gave me the "the hell's up with that chick?" look...so thanks so much for that! 🤣🤣

My question is do the police even bother contacting someone over petty theft? It would seem to me they likely don't have time to deal with that stuff. Sadly these people get to walk away no punishment
I'm not sure how it works in America, but it would be really easy to just sent a fine or community service proposal or so to the adress (if license plate matches with photo on drivers license). If they dont agree with the fine they can go to court. GSE has done all the work and got the evidence clearly, you have to do something. In the netherlands a businessowner gets €181 (about the same in dollars now) for the time involved for calling the police etcetere, paid by the thief. Great rule.
I worked at a Dollar General. I'd still work at one if they would allow me to confront thieves like this. Keep exposing these lowlifes. Edit: Don't ever confront thieves. Call the Cops and let them do their job. I don't condone taking matters into your own hands in any situation unless life or bodily harm to you and yours is threatened. Be aware Stay safe
I like to imagine how it is when these thieves are spotted on video by friends, family, an employer or similar. Your job can certainly fire you if they catch wind of it. And all for $1.39 cookies. (Edit: $4.59 cookies, 😂)

I used to work night shift solo at 7-eleven while I was in college, the sheer look surprise on a thief's face when you catch them is hilarious. Grown adults stealing candy smh.
