As the assistant manager at a gas station for years, can confirm. Every walk of life needs gas. There are amazing people at every level of society and there are awful people at every level.

I work at a school with a very nice playground we keep open to the public and the amount of litter left daily is seriously disgusting. I just dont understand how people find it acceptable 🙄
my school was so disgusting but it wasnt even our students it was the people living near it they would throw beer bottles and weed packs over their fence at a elemantry

People would go into the bathrooms, destroy urinals, literally wipe S H I T on the walls, and piss on floors. Sure this might sound like every school until you realise it got so bad they had to put cameras into them.
Don't pick up people's trash with your bare hands, it's a good way to catch people's germ or disease. When I worked for a restaurant and I had parking lot duties, I always walk around and clean up trash from store parking lot with broom and dustpan. At least use gloves, I hate to see you get sick from people's waste.

I’ve observed and studied human psychology and behavior all my life. Littering is still the most perplexing of all human behaviors. Especially in one’s neighborhood. Littering goes way deeper than laziness. Murder is more easier to understand than littering.
I agree. I even put my cig butt in the trash after I knock off the cherry and make sure it's out. I feel bad dropping it on the ground and stepping on it and walking away.

Littering is 100% the most trashy thing a human can do (no pun intended) I'll never forget as a kid, I threw out a doritos bag while driving and my Dad stomped on his brakes and made me get out and get it. It was so shameful, hopefully these ppl learn like i did, probably too late for them tho tbh.

I have to agree with C Fox. Most people don't act like this. The ones that do need to be confronted and punished severely. Their pos parents never taught them the basics.
I grew up with parents that taught me not to throw my trash on the ground, and now I understand why they were hard on me when I did that. It becomes someone else's problem, and that's not fair.
At this point I'm just going to come to the conclusion that your gas station is built on top of some ancient tribe burial ground and that's why so much chaos seems to gravitate towards the building.

My local park is full of empty bottles, Arizona iced tea cans, blunt wrappers. There are multiple garbage cans everywhere too. I was picking them up and my 2 year old helped me. It’s crazy that even a toddler can grasp the concept of garbage goes in garbage bin. Edit: the most offensive part of this video was the dude wiping his booger hands on the case of beer.

I feel retail needs more of this style of filmed confrontation. I've ALWAYS said these retail confrontations would be far and few between if retail workers could say "Fuck You" without repercussions. Point and case: Bro was so stunned when the bag went back into his window. He might think twice about it next time.
People like him don't have internalized morals, they only care about "is this my problem? no, it isn't" they have no concept of being courteous because it means other people will be courteous to them, then they wonder why their friends are all assholes like they are. Their behavior can only be checked one way which is through confrontation as shown here, but most employees can't do that.
You can just imagine the reaction to theft of their own money. These same people, always prepared with justification of theft from a store owner or franchise owner, would probably be whining and threatening and cursing, endlessly, about theft of a few dollars from their own wallets (or purses). I've seen their comments on this, and other forums. So pleased when someone else lis losing money to scumbag thieves. Bunch of jerks. Lower than low.

Dirty diaper, Covid mask and snot rags are always nice litter to pick up. And oil spills when customers can't hit the fill hole when adding a quart. Had a genius pour a whole quart on the drive right in front of the front door.
My 11 y/o son begs me to return the shopping cart for me he enjoys it almost as much as pushing it for me. I hope he stays this great for as long as possible I am really going to miss it when I am no longer the greatest person in his life. It happened with his sister around 14 now she won’t be in the same room as me or her brother.
As someone who worked for 5 years at a grocery store doing carts in Arizona heat, I gotta say i have a range of feelings on this topic. We really dont care if you leave it out. The only time we care is if there is a cart space within like 4 spots from your car and you are too lazy to walk like 8 steps. But if the cart is far away, i dont blame them honestly. Most stores just dont have enough cart collection spaces in the middle and back back of the parking lots. And in AZ, i dont expect someone to walk half the parking lot to put a cart away when we get paid to do it.
They heard it but pretending they didn’t kept them from stopping and getting caught. Now they can pull it out and toss it away up the street and claim it was not in their gas fill when they got home and claim ignorance on the whole thing.
I believe they generally do realize what happened. I think they just freak out and take off anyway in fear they'll be in lots of trouble. I worked at a gas station and the customers that did admit to it we generally let go just for being decent people and realized they made a mistake.

If it was his intent to damage a product (in this case, putting human nose waste on something he doesn't own) it's illegal. Just like the girls that were opening ice cream, licking them, and putting it back.
After almost 17 years at a gas station, I have witnessed all of this lol. My most interesting litterbug stopped in the middle of the parking lot, opened the driver's door and dumped out her crock pot of steaming hot pot roast! Never understood that one lol 🤦♀
7:40 I swear, I met this same guy a couple months ago, approaching me and several other drivers at a gas station in the Midwest. He said he didn't speak good English. He had his wife and kid with him, using the latter for sympathy. Wife looked intensely bored. After I noticed his gold necklace, I told him to take a hike. He yelled something at me, but my ears were already turned off to him.
I literally have no idea how people can litter like that. I never even think about doing it because it just feels wrong. Will carry trash in my pocket if there isn’t a trash can
When I took my first foreign holiday in 1980 around Europe from Ireland we had to be warned that police and litter wardens were a common event in most European cities and to be VERY careful with our refuse, cigarette ends chewing gum etc... on the spot fines for various antisocial behaviours, common in Ireland but not tolerated in Europe, were a routine thing. Unfortunately in later years Europe has also turned into a mess due to official neglect of these small but odious behaviours.
