The Church has gotten me through a lot these past few years, so I feel obligated to say how much it’s impacted my life. You said "call her up! that girl who said no (or whatever, cant remember specifically), she's bored too. Call her, she might say yes, You don't know". I did that, I called ”Her" up. I Love you Joey. I remember driving down Sunset Blvd on a Friday night when I saw your name on the bill at the Store and freaked. I'd already watched almost everything you had on RU-vid. I called the store at 7:30 and you went on at 9. Cover charge was 20 plus mandatory 2 drinks and all I had was 13 bucks. I turned on the meter to hustle some money from doing rides and made just enough to park it far away on Fountain Ave to avoid paying for parking. I literally dashed there uphill on Olive Dr and got there drenched as fuck. I wish I could remember the girl that I was calling from the store that said I could still make it and the bouncer closed the door on me, when she saw me from far away she told the bouncer to let me in. It was sold out but they let me watch you from all the way in the back and I got there right on time. I've never laughed so hard in my life. You were talking about some S&M dudes at a gay bar in the meat packing industry district in NY that had signs on their neck asking to get pissed on. I was howling in happiness just laughing my ass off all by myself. That night I found out about the church of what's happening now and you were so awesome you let me take a picture with you in the back of the store. Thank you Joey Diaz and thank you Lee "the Christ Killa" for getting us through the good times and the bad. When uncle Joey got emotional maaaaaan, I got emotional.

A few year ago when I was in college I would spend most of my days and nights at school being by myself and feeling lonely/sad most of the time. Thats the time when I discovered the church. It was so funny and Joey's stories were always one of a kind and each more legendary than the next. Every time Joey would stop in a conversation and say "I remember this one time.." I knew I was going to hear something special. It boggled my mind how great his memory was after all those years of living the lifestyle that he had. The Church really helped me build my self confidence and have a more positive outlook on life as a whole. Joey made me feel grateful for everything I had in my own life that I had previously overlooked and took for granted. I knew right away this was the coolest podcast out there no doubt. Joey's grab the world by the nuts attitude really spoke to me and got me to wake the fuck up and pursue my own dreams. He always made me feel like I was part of the church family even though I had never met him or Lee in person. They say all good things must come to an end and it is very true. I will forever be grateful for the church and I wish them both the very best in the future. God bless and stay black cocksuckas.

Listening to this podcast in the mornings before work got me through some of my worst bouts of depression. Just listening to you guys talk shit got my mind off so many things.
