Defence of the Gospel? Take for instance to the gospel of Matthew 7:14, known as the sermon on the mount delivered by Jesus. At no point however does he say that belief in him is the mechanism by which one is saved. Indeed he earlier stresses the importance of not being judgmental and guarding against judging others before considering one’s own behaviour. His message was about humility and goodness, not Paul's "Christian" doctrine. It was only long after his death that the gospel of John preached that Jesus was god and put lots of self righteous self important sayings into his mouth. Defence of the Gospel? Last October when studying church history, I saw that certain high ranking elites in the church of England had simply hidden its Roman allegiance, not shed it, and when reading John's apocalypse, the instruction from the Lord, "come out of her my people, so that you will not participate in her sins, and receive of her plagues" rang out like a bell. And the Spirit guided my understanding that our family should not be in the church of England any longer. We found a god-fearing church in November, praise God. And now I understand. My heart breaks for you all, I pray that the Lord will grant you all wisdom and discernment as you seek where your fellowship now lies. But never forget that it is Christ who gives you solid ground. May the peace of the Lord always be with you.

Charles will do whatever he needs to do and say whatever he needs to say in order to try to avoid the abolition of the monarchy. Here in England, faithful Christians have been dreading the passing of her Majesty Elizabeth 2nd. She was by no means a perfect ruler, and signed off many wicked Acts of Parliament, but she was a strong preserving force. Now she has gone, strong forces that have been waiting and planning for a long time are making their moves. The writing has been on the wall for a long time. I quit the Anglican church I had been attending 8 years ago when I saw this coming after the Pilling report. I now attend a Bible church, but I have no doubts that they will be coming for us in due course. They will try to get the Bible outlawed as 'hate speech'. Very soon I expect that they will attack gift aid tax breaks for churches as charities unless we sign up to the full LGBTQ agenda. The churches ought to factor this into our economics. I hope that the so called 'Church of England' will now find that if it throws God's Word under the bus in order to please the world, it will reap the due consequences. I see a strong movement towards disestablishment-this is already being called for by the same sexual revolutionaries who the bishops are trying to please. They tried to find a way to please both God and secular humanists, they will please neither and will receive a due recompense. Older Anglicans are dying off, some are going to Rome, others to the Free Churches, young people are not joining. We will see more church buildings taken over as mosques, Hindu temples and private dwellings. None of this should surprise us if we read the many warnings about false teachers in the New Testament.
2 Timothy says that all scripture is God breathed so what rite has the arch bishop Justin welsby to change it. Has he no fear of God? A sad sad day for the CofE. There will be many communions who break from her and proceed on a more biblical path. Seventy five percent of the Anglican communion are represented in the Global South communion. That says where the future of Anglicanism lies.
Are there any Anglican Churches in Gippsland, Victoria that are Orthodox? I would really like to look into Anglicanism more, however I know that the lady who is the "Priest(?)" of the Anglican Church in my hometown is a Universalist, and accepts homosexuality, same sex marriage, etc.

Both Luther and Calvin believed that contraception was opposed to the clear teaching of the Bible. In this they were fully in line with what the Church had taught for centuries. However, in 1930, the Anglican Communion decided to abandon that teaching. Why should the latest abandonment of biblical teaching by the Church of England have more dire consequences than the one of 1930? Furthermore, it is argued that there is a distinction between primary and secondary doctrines and while unity is essntial on primary doctrines, Bible-believing Christians are permitted to disagree on secondary doctrines. Is the current dispute over a primary doctrine or a secondary doctrine?
Primary because it's a salvation issue, even by CofE's subordinate standards: repentance from sin is necessary for salvation (Homilies: Of repentance), Scripture defines what is necessary for salvation (Article VI & XXI), Scripture defines sexual immorality as sin, therefore repentance from sexual immorality is necessary for salvation. Condoning sin, or worse blessing sin, is not calling to repentance unto salvation, hence salvation issue, hence primary issue.
But perhaps the use of contraception is Opposed to Biblical principles? Some types interfere with already created life! Others may interfere with marital unity. Perhaps repentance is indeed in this too?! When the marital "act" is no longer seen as unitive and potentially conceptive....then it's a small step to endorsement of other types of relationships.... Perhaps a church that is truly pro life, and celebrates and wellcomes the birth of Children as a great blessing would be a flourishing church?

At least the Protestant churches are explicit in their apparent apostasy. The de facto position of the Roman Catholic church from my experience is no better, but they defend their Orthodoxy by pointing out to their impeccable de jure position.
I personally prefer the explicit, intellectually honest rational, clear minded and transparent apostasy of the Anglicans and Protestants to the implicit, muffled and libidinous apostasy of the Roman empire derived churches that say one thing and do another. Their Protestant counterparts are more consistent in saying and doing what they say.

Faith alone is wrong for the two following reasons: (1) the combination of the word dikaiosyne + logizo is a terminus technicus in Second Temple Judaism and means " to acknowledge a behaviour as fullfillment of covenantal obligations". This is clear from the Qumran rolls and other ancient writings in Paul's time. (2) When Paul is telling that "pistis" is counted (reckoned) as righteousness =covenant faithfulness , the phrase "pistis" must be denoting a behaviour - and neither the Protestant "faith" nor "faith alone" meet this requirement for a correct translation in the context of " reckon a behaviour as covenant faithfulness". The true meaning of pistis is therefore: faithfulness, trusting obedience to a messianic king, a kind of behaviour best described as allegiance. (3) Allegiance is nonexistent without obedience, so obedience and perseverance in obedience are necessary for salvation. (4) People preaching a different gospel as Paul are lost Galatians 1,8. I do believe that The Holy Spirit is leading the C of E into further truth. As Jesus said -“I have much more to tell you….” Thus I believe, saying that what’s recorded in the GOSPELS is not the end of the story.
You are claiming that Holy Spirit is double minded because Jesus said marriage is between a man and a woman and Moses said man lying with a man is an abomination and Paul likewise in Romans 1. No one has quoted what Holy Spirit has actually said to justify same sex marriage/serial relationships. Who is claiming new revelation from God on this issue? None can say what God has said.
