Arles is a city on the Rhône River in the Provence region of southern France. It's famed for inspiring the paintings of Van Gogh, which influenced the contemporary art displayed at the Foundation Vincent Van Gogh. Once a provincial capital of ancient Rome, Arles is also known for many remains from that era, including Arles Amphitheatre (les Arènes d'Arles), now hosting plays, concerts and bullfights.

Yes this guy is completely ignorant about Van Gogh it seems. Everyone knows Van Gogh was a Dutchman. Even little children in Africa know this.... Vincent only lived in France for about the last 4 years of his life. And he lived in Arles for 18 months.

His name is Van Gogh not Van Gough. Vincent was a Dutch painter and not a French painter like this guy suggests. Vincent only lived in Arles for 18 months. I hope you knew this.

Dude... Literally everyone knows Van Gogh was Dutch not French!!!!. Even little children in Africa know this. Vincent was born and raised in The Netherlands and only lived in France for the last 4 years of his life. He lived in Arles for about 18 months.... He spoke French with a heavy Dutch accent. The local Arlesians wanted nothing to do with him and called him the "foreiger madman".
