Although I moved from Pittsburgh 12 yrs ago it's Friday and I am having a Yuengling beer and listening to the Clark's.Close my eyes and I am back in the strip district.Man i miss Pittsburgh!
My dad introduced me to this band when he seen them a few times at a coffee shop in da burgh. I am a picksburgher thru and thru. And i seen these guys a few years later at the big butler fair. Best effing concert ever. Love these guys. They rawk mah socks off. Keep on going guys. Representing the 412.
I live at the tip of Cape Cod but I bleed Black and Gold. I've turned hundreds of N.E.ers to The Clarks. Born in the 'burg - U of Pitt. Oh yeah, Fuck the Patsies
I lived in pgh back in the 90’s, and a friend of mine introduced me to the Clarks. I absolutely think they are a real professional band who should be proud of their music and their loyalty and commitment to their family, friends, and mostly all their Pittsburgh fans (including me) my name is Carla DePasquale I live in California now🤙) but my heart will always be in Pittsburgh where I hung my hat from 1994-2004
Can’t wait to see these MOFO’s at the Oil Heritage Festival!!! Tonight at 7pm!!! Yay Venango County!! lol such a small town was able to get these guys! 😍😍😍😍 Penny on the floor is a must. A must!!! I’ve never been to a concert. This is going to be the closest thing to it!
Correct. They are all from different Western PA towns and got together at IUP. For example, Dave Minarik (drums) is originally from Lake Latonka near Mercer, PA (hometown of Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails)
Just saw them live for the second time. First time was at the Mt. Pleasant Glass Festival last year, second time was at the Fayette County Fair which was last night. Nothing beats seeing them play this song live, especially since the fair is referenced in this song.
i got to meet the clarks back in 1999,they were promoting their new album at the time "let it go" at a record store in ebensburg,pa by playing a couple of songs.and all i can say is they were absolutly fantastic, couldnt ask for a nicer band, very fan oriented.by far my favorite band.i just wish i had time to go see them live more often.
The Clarks, The Gathering Field, The Affordable Floors, Disco Bitch, Red Edna, Six Foot Simon, The Dharma Sons, Sunshine Day... throughout the entire decade of the 90's, Pittsburgh was un-fucking-touchable when it came to the local music scene.
Fayette County Fair need I say more! Scott hope to see you Sly Fox, and Brian at Bud's this on Sunday's this July. Its Been 3 years since I've been home and I can't wait.
@SkynyrdFan76 yeah, he's pretty cool, he's actually helpin me move my music interests along. lol but, yeah he is pretty awesome and hasn't lost his cool factor over the years.
they played this song at the end of there set at Heniz Field on August 29 and they threw the Sesame Street song in the middle, lol it was hilarious, THE CLARKS ARE AMAZING!!!!
What video are you referring to? I'd be glad to OK a video response if you post it here, but there was none to OK in my Inbox. Amazing you're a Pens fan being from Philly!!
@Owned527 They have a new EP out. Don't know when it came out, but it's newer than "Restless Days". Nothing new unfortunately. Reworked 5 of their own songs and a cover.
damn i took a picture with scott once but the person who took it cut his head off so technically i dont have the picture. i love them soo much they rock. i want to take my boyfriend to see them this summer at the big butler fair
Was this an under 21 show? I don't see anyone with beer.... Also does anyone know if there's any footage of The Clarks from Nick's Fat City? I'm gonna keep looking but so far no luck.
this is at mr smalls in millvale. they dont allow alcohol near the front, if you wanna drink you have to be behind the divider which is toward the middle/back of the venue
