Hello and welcome to the Merapi Miners channel! We're so excited to take you on a journey into the fascinating world of manual sand mining on the cliffs! We'll be teaming up with local workers to get up close and personal with the sand mining process. We'll be using simple yet effective tools to extract sand from the steep cliffs.
The video will show you some of the special techniques that are used to overcome the challenges of the difficult terrain and ensure the safety of the workers. And we'll also get to see how the sand is sorted and sieved through a sieving process to separate impurities and small stones.
