Kawhi's career is already a classic tragedy with his degenerative knee condition. Why make it worse with this insane roster management? Everyone knows this won't work. Russ was finally hitting his stride in terms of self awareness and role acceptance. I really enjoyed seeing russ somewhat glowing up with the clippers near the end of last season, it was sjch fun to watch.

Westbrook looked genuinely great in the opening games - his game didnt suffer for a lack of scoring, and every other aspect of play was a big benefit for PG and Kawhi. No telling if it would have lasted, but it was a good start. It's wild that basically everyone on earth knew that Harden would be a nightmare, and they did the deal anyway, and guess what, he's a nightmare.

Amazing channel. I was so close to visiting basketball arenas in LA one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I CAN NOT forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. The problem with most basketball fans is they don't understand that it's a team sport. So a player who plays better team ball will be a better player for that team. It's been two games lmao they'll be fine. When the Clippers got Russ they were 0-6 to start. When the Heat got LeBron and Bosh in 2010 they started 9-8. Two games is not enough to reshape a team's offense. Not to mention Zubac is a turnstile on defense.

I still dont get why Westbrook gets the biggest blame for what happened in LA, yeah it was a bad fit and his shot selection sucks for how much he has the ball but either Lebron or KD where injured constantly during that time. When most of ur assets are injured, how many players can carry a team?

It's not gonna work, but the only way this has a chance to work, is if Harden comes off the bench and the second unit goes pure offense, while the first unit plays more defense.

Maybe making Russ run around the midrange area, and kawhi and pg corners. And make Russ the ball handler on fast breaks if possible

Why did the front office trade for harden while their team was actually looking pretty decent without also moving Russ? Front office just cooked T Lue. I’d be furious as a coach. And harden isn’t a winning basketball player because he refuses to put effort in on the defensive side… like he’s too cool for it or something. No team in 2023 can be a winning team with harden in their roster. He’s so unserious that it’s embarrassing at this point. League has to look into tampering on this one… why would the Clippers essentially conspire to make the 76ers a good basketball team pretty much for nothing? Were they promised something under the table? Or is the front office just that incompetent?

Westbrook to Miami is the best fit for Russ’ personality.

People are stupid, when we (the Lakers) traded for Russ my wife walked in on me reading the news nearly in tears. I remember saying at the time we just threw away the next two years. The Harden trade is the same, I am legitimately astonished they thought this was a good idea. Their team was actually working, Russ was actually good! The only silver lining for them is they are only stuck with Harden for one season but you better believe he is going to be a nightmare in his contract year.

Russ will not demand a trade because after the Lakers got rid of him his stock was super low. He will play whatever role the coach tells him so other NBA teams will see him as a valuable player. If he pouts and disrupts the team’s chemistry he will be out of the league like Melo. Nevertheless, the Clips will end up trading him before the deadline because the team dynamics just won't work with him and Harden.
