Star wars Bad batch season 3 bad batch yoda anakin skywalker Darth vader clone captain rex commander cody tales of the empire Clone wars #thebadbatch #theclonewars
Easily the MVP of this entire mission. My man came in clutch to allow the squad to travel to Tantiss, convinced Dr. Karr to reconsider her life choices, helped Omega escort the kids safely out of the base, spearheaded the clone prisoner uprising with a motivational speech and went toe-to-toe with CX clones in goddamn stormtrooper gear and kicked their asses anyway. Absolute champ.
Is there any need for that just look silly 😂 imagine calling people clowns for having theory’s that the season clearly hinted at oh well it ain’t the end of the world shame you’ve got nothing better to do than to just be toxic 😂
I like how it is basically Hemlock’s version of the bad batch. One sniper, one very strong guy, a guy who fights with melee weapons and the last one looked to have a scanner like Tech’s but who knows what his thing was really.
And yet the Empire never capitalise on that, imagine a clone army all with the abilities like The Bad Batch, or a clone/clones with all their special abilities in one, it would be a bit threat for them and everyone, but a missed opportunity tbh
Consider Tarkin cut resources on every project that were non Star Dust is quite logical . Even when emperor approved non limit budget for Hemlock but in reality that only consider Project Necromancer . Another things is that only some clone were appropriately for this project and even then Tarkin would not capitalise such a operatives because he would say they are effective in some cases not like stormtrooper or imperial army trooper that were Universal really . This show are great when it comes to show how Empire focus on quantity not quality in every aspect
@@justinandrew5032that theory would be crushed considering he is a reg, defective clones cannot be brainwashed until he made alterations after crosshair resisted his conditioning and so would tech. Besides crosshair would have known if he was tech in the first place why would he keep it to himself? He knows all the clones that went through hemlocks conditionings and they were all regs.
@@gray_ios8924 how would he know the alterations work unless he tried it on one, and how do you figure Crosshair would know everyone that went through the conditioning he was in a cell the whole time.
@@justinandrew5032if this was tech they would already know where squad 99 was this entire time at their home. This clone’s fighting style is completely unrelated to how tech operated and had absolutely no knowledge of what tech already knew. Idk how people are still assuming this is still tech, even after it has been revealed by crosshair these are all regs and that the conditioning program failed on altered clones
And that's what you call WASTED POTENTIAL. I don't know why they always do this, remember the inquisitor who fought ahsoka in "Tales of The Jedi"? Remember they just killed him in seconds. Yeah he's going back in Tales of The Empire but at what cost, we already knew how useless he was 🗿
Had they been present later in Imperial reign and in greater numbers, Rebel Allience would be in serious trouble. These 4 were enough to terminate an average cell from early rebellion.
For the whooooole season we were like “THATS TECH/CODY” and “tech will be in the finale” but nope, bro got stabbed like he hadn’t been teased at in every episode 😭😭
@@chuckingreaper8654then why not reveal his face early on in the season when he went down a huge waterfall and survived. They were definitely making a bigger deal of him than the other ones.
And they still lost despite the Bad Batch being on their final legs. A fake is a fake, and no matter how much you dress it up the real thing always wins.
0:44 Imagine if they took off his helmet and Crosshaird would be staring in the face of a dying clone of himself with „serial killer type music“ playing in the background
I’m glad it wasn’t revealed that it was a beloved clone but I would’ve loved to have seen what they look like under the helmet. Like it’s called project “necromancer” I gotta see how far they went.
I called it that the CX clone would remain unmasked, and just stay a rival to Crosshair. Kinda wished that it was Crosshair that killed him but idrk how he would do it with the hand gone and all that
I know some fans are miffed that X-2's identity was never revealed. That he turned out to not be Tech, or Cody, or some other clone we all know. Honestly? I'm glad he wasn't. I had a hard time believing Tech was dead since the second season finale, and I'm willing to eat my words and say that I'm glad I was wrong. Filoni's shows have had a tendency to not kill off character when they really should have died, and killing Tech after he received the most development of the squad in the second season is bold. That's how you raise stakes. And let's be honest, X-2 never gave off the impression that he was Tech. He doesn't have the same build as Tech, he doesn't speak with the same cadence, and we know for a fact that Tech isn't a sharpshooter like Crosshair. Everyone just kind of imparted this theory onto X-2 and ran with it, when the show never hinted he was supposed to be Tech in the first place. In short, I'm glad this means Tech is actually dead. It wasn't a copout, so it has meaning. X-2 was purely a dark reflection of who Crosshair could have become in another lifetime. I just wish he was the one who inflicted the killing blow instead of Hunter, to symbolize him overcoming the shadow of himself.
I like how the finale kind of played out like the first episode: Hunter and Crosshair chasing after a child, Wrecker buying time, And Echo dealing with the regs... There is one TECHnicality here, but their role is still kinda filled.
But this time both Crosshair and Hunter were protecting the Child where as the first episode only Hunter was trying to protect Kannan where as Crosshair was trying to kill him
Some of y'all are so mean in this comment section 😭 I've seen Game Theory videos that are 100x more ridiculous than the stuff people were predicting for this guy. Theories are supposed to be fun! Let people have at it.
@@OutOfIdeas9977 That's... not true? Every person _I_ know who liked these theories is really nice. I'm sure there's toxic people out there, but there always is. You can't smush everyone into one category like that :/
@@randomperson-kx6mv I’m referring to everyone who’s toxic about “Disney Star Wars.” Or “Disney Canon” all of them are incredibly incredibly toxic and make up at least over 60-80% of the SW community. As far as I know, ALL of these toxic people ARE the ones who are making these theories.
Even though I kinda wished we learned his identity given his threat level to the Bad Batch, I couldn’t help but laugh at the fact that he got the Marrock treatment just like others said he would 😂
I think it is look at hunters expression at 0:47 and cross hairs reaction at 0:55. He doesn’t even look at Hunter he responds while looking at the body. Then looks at X-2 again when walking away
Its quite sad to see these guys brainwashed into serving the Empire when they could have escaped with the other clone prisoners. Remember, these clone assassins were once clone prisoners. They just so happened to be picked for this role
Tbh the whole CX clone being tech didnt really make sense to me. Since he could've tracked omega to Pabu in the first place instead of finding Cid and Phee, even the speech pattern is different. We never knew how the whole clone conditioning thing worked but I doubt it means the clones forget everything or leave any kind of knowledge behind.
Imagine if Wrecker didn't get attack by a wild bear first maybe he can goes into full beast mode and beat them all easily and happy to see Bad Batch members all survived from Clone assasins
I was honestly thinking it was Tech, and they’d kill him not knowing who it was, before unmasking him and realising what had happened. That would’ve been super dark
That’s the point they already established. FREQUENTLY. All the operatives are just clones, and if they died, that’s that. I swear to god if people keep harping saying Tech is that guy, or that guy, then you are just in denial
One of the operatives has a visible face (reg clone) and the clone with grey eyes said that Hemlock just takes clones he deems worthy and subjects them to conditioning, so most if not all of those operatives are just normal random clones. (Maybe not the big one though hes a lil special)
Hero of Anaxes himself. Also, is it just me or did these guys all die kind of brutally, wrecker was not messing around when he slammed the sword guys head into a wall (though its not in this video)
If I had a nickel for every time a cool, highly trained villian was heavily theorized to be a fan favorite character in Star Wars, just to be killed off, I’d have 2 nickels, 1 from Marrok, the other from CX-2.
to use as a world building tool to show how skilled the CX troopers are against even combat hardened clones, which doesn’t really require a name given the stand out armor design
There were 3 operatives shown before this. Operative 1 was killed upon the first mission, but was successful. Second one was captured and killed by a third operative. The reason why this operative had more screen time vs the other 2, of which were very similar to this operative, was because this operative switched targets from a senator to omega. This was because the other two operatives either did not find omega or were not ordered to find omega at the time of their mission.
I think he was Tech. It’s not just Cross hair who looks at his body weird. Hunter does too, they both have some feeling about X-2 after he dies. He’s not just some random clone or clone of cross hair something much more personal
I think the one that gets hit the spear is. They both give him glances. Cross hair even glances at his body twice. One when he responds to Hunter and again when he walks away he takes another hard glance. Definitely Tech
