The Clone Wars 6" Figures - Setting up my Star Wars: Black Series shelf 

I mostly hate Star Wars filler episodes but I think all episodes from Clone Wars even the “filler” ones always taught me a life lesson or at least helping me be more open minded about certain things in life. I hope you enjoy the clone wars in your adulthood as much as I did since I also started watching it for the first time not too long ago

My jaw dropped when you said you haven’t seen all of The Clone Wars. I always forget you got back into the franchise fairly recently. A lot of the episodes, especially in the early seasons, are pretty inconsequential to the overarching Star Wars story, but they’re very fun to watch. Cool that you were honest about seeing all of clone wars. As a huge die hard sw fan…. I was dogged for not watching any of the animated shows. Still don’t know why I didn’t watch them originally …. But damn!! They are all awesome and amazing shows. And actually turned an OG fan into a prequel fan now too. Really enriched the story and characters for me. Awesome collection

Its interesting that a lot of things were hated in star wars (Hayden Christensen, Ahmed Best, The kid actor for anakin and Ahsoka Tano) by fans, but eventually gained proper respect that it deserved

Love this shelf series, Luke! As someone who likes clones, but definitely not as much as it seems most of the fandom does, a focus in TCW named characters is very refreshing!

On my Clone Wars Maul; I did a darkwash on the chest to tone down that red to match the face. It adds imperfections to the tatto that looks more like skin. While your at it you can do a dark wash on the pants and legs and then of course dry brush. You taught me that.

I don’t understand why every figure needs a custom head. Most of them don’t look “better” just look different and they’re very expensive. Just my opinion and the artist that make them are awesome

Off topic but when it comes to black series pre orders - once they sell out is that the only chance at goe tying the figure ? Will they come in stock normally for a period of time after the release date ?

Growing up the human faces were so ugly on toys I only got aliens/non humans or guys with helmets on. Although faces look much better now, I pretty much only get troopers unless it's a character really love. Troopers are just the best.
