Cobra Kai Co-Creator Hayden Schlossberg talks about an idea for a Cobra Kai spinoff show about Dynatox. In Karate Kid 3, Terry Silver ran a company called Dynatox, which disposed of industrial waste (or toxic waste dumping). Would you like to see a Dynatox show?
Terry Silver was played by Thomas Ian Griffith in Karate Kid 3 and Cobra Kai. Nick Marini played a young Terry Silver in Cobra Kai.

In a perfect world (and w a proper budget) I'd want this: "Sensei" - a period piece show about Miyagi Shimpo after returning from China and the beginnings of the founding of Miyagi-do, set almost entirely in Japan. Otherwise: a young Miyagi period piece set initially in Okinawa..... and eventually in the US (bc Sato and Yukie, WWII, etc.)

I still feel a little let down with Barnes' character in season 5. Would be good to delve into his background, learn how he became so good at Karate, see visuals of his past tournamment success and also elaborate more on what happened to the character immediately after KK3

You could incorporate so many things. Maybe having Silver as the protagonist for once? You could cast someone as Silver’s father. I would think Kreese would be a character. Perhaps weave a tie in to Japan, Korea, Okinawa. We could meet prequel Sato and see Master Kim!

Borneo actually has a lot of excellent martial arts masters who fled China after 1949. Including masters of the White Crane style that gave rise to Karate. Maybe Terry had some encounters with them, fuelling his hate for Okinawan Karate and Borneo too.

He’s kinda being aloof and kidding. But I kinda think he’s testing the waters putting feelers out. See if it would have interest. It’s an awesome out of the box idea no one would see coming. I like it. A prequel back story would be huge. Especially one of one of the most interesting characters Terry silver.

Alpha Elites spin off would be awesome but this time Ned trying to find his way in life years after his defeat from Julie Piece this in would mirror Johnny and Daniel Ned is mirroring Johnny and Julie Mirroring Daniel also having Michael Ironside Back as Colonels Dugan would be awesome too I hope season 6 Sets That Up

They've done well to make him a more realistic character but no I don't want to watch a series about him, He' s not an anti hero.

Cobra Kai is already teetering on the edge of being too ridiculous. If we start doing spin-offs of minuscule parts of the lore, it will be going way too far. Let’s “leave well enough alone” and not take things too far, before it becomes a laughing stock.

I dont have any interest in a Terry Silver story. except the small flashbacks we have already gotten..... those are okay. but a whole story about Dnatox and drugs. I'll p Pass.
