Time to strip the 800hp Cobra down to begin it's transformation! Goldberg and Jackson begin to tackle the epic build by disassembling the Cobra piece by piece prepping for WHATSNEXT!
Bill it took me 22yrs to finish my 66 C10. Like you said I do all my work until it gets to rebuilding a trans or motor. Everything else from fabrication, welding to bodywork and painting I did myself with no help except my wife giving me a hand or two. So satisfying when you complete your project then get to drive it. Money and work dictated how long it took to rebuild. Looking forward to watching your progress on your Cobra. Cheers Bill
Another fabulous video Mr G. The mirror then the scoop on the hood wrecks the lines totally! Nice to see you working on the car instead of taking g it to someone to do.
@@Wayne_Nero, You can find FF Cobra's already built for less that 40k. The Superformance and Backdraft Replicas are a different animal. Those get up into the 6 figure price range sometimes.
I have been a fan of the Shelby Cobra since I was a child and watched the TV show "Honey West". I will be 73 years old in February, and I still love them. I understand that I will most likely never see a real "Shelby AC Cobra", but I would be ecstatic to have a replica. 🏁🏁🏁
Great car, great project! I grew up working on cars with my father. It’s a passion and therapy as well for me 🙏…..the cobra is gonna look badass blacked out!
I grew up around cobras and Shelby GT350 mustangs my dad had Shelby mustangs and a 289 cobra and a 427 cobra real ones this was in the a lot early 80’s so they weren’t out of reach for the average guy but sadly my dad was killed vintage racing his 427 cobra so yes I do love these cars they mean alot to me I even named my oldest daughter Shelby one day I’ll own one it will have to be a kit because I don’t have millions for a real one 😂 but thanks for the videos Bill I love all things muscle cars
I know it's your car but black and Chrome I don't know it's a great compliment when you have a car that has black and Chrome but in the end you're the man you do what you do and if you enjoy it I enjoy it Keep up the good work Bud I met you and Tucson Arizona when you work for WWE the first time around I was at AS dB Arizona school for the death and blind you walked up To me and spun me around and signed the back of my shirt That meant the world to me you were my hero when you were in WCW and for you to take the time and do that it meant everything so thank you QI now live in Kansas and I am about to turn 37 years old I was Thirteen back then
It's pretty cool to see you getting into it yourself and doing the work. I wonder how many Men can actually change their own oil nowadays?? Heck, I wonder if & how many schools even have a Shop class anymore???
I found your channels thanks to your Unsubscribe podcast which I just saw recently. It's awesome to know you making content. You were my favorite wrestler back in WCW days. Keep up the great content.
There's a lot on that car that makes no sense, Rockauto (Yup im in Aus and I buy American) has these small chrome frame mount rear view mirrors that look period correct British sports car that attach with 2 grub screws to the 1/4 vent frame of my door (Range Rover classic) that would look as you mentioned way better on your Cobra style kit and if you hit 100mph and they shift? 2 seconds with one of your paws to adjust. Looking forward to the updates :-)
Sucks about the trans am. And very relatable about working on something with your own hands. The new stuff being built to require a trip to the dealership for just an oil change or burnt out headlight is so rigoddamndiculous.
Bill grabs roll cage to shake it and proceeds to pick whole car up off the lift. Be careful with those two-post lifts folks. Plenty of recorded evidence of them falling off.
My favorite car in the world is also a f1, to old to climb into the drivers seat unless you have about 2 days but if I had the chance I would spend it to get in, second favorite is 69AMC AMX yea I know opposite ends of the spectrum
I had one of those moments years ago. How do you reach that screw. After 30 minutes a friend happened to stop by a goes just turn this part. I went well duh. HAHAHA Everyone have a wonderful day.
As always great video really enjoyed watching you and Jackson starting the tear down...cant wait to see this brutal lady in all her new glory...thanks Bill..😀😀😎😎
