I would love to see what I'm calling "random roulette" where you would have to get a randomized encounter from 6 different sources. 1 tree shake, 1 fishing encounter, 1 surprise trade, random grass encounter, 1 egg hatch, and 1 overworld encounter. I think it would be fun to see.

Instead a coin, you could use a dice (poke, great, ultra, master, quick or special: heavy, net, dusk, dive... whatever you think is the best)

Wow, half HP Groudon taking full HP Kyurem's psychic..holding on with 3hp and retaliating with a super effective scale shot, increasing it's own speed and allowing it to end it using glaive rush was very anime like! To destroy full hp kyurem with only half to 3hp?? Groudon's a beast!! Always been one of my favorites.

Scyther isn’t “fully evolved” but it has the same BST as Scizor and Kleavor so I feel it should be treated differently

You can just press right on the Pokemon selection screen during the battle to get to the moves. They didn't go back in the battle system quality-wise, they made inspecting the moves even easier by removing the need to enter the summary screen

It's so good seeing new Pokemon. S/V deserves so much more love. The variety is unmatched.

Probability of flipping a coin is always 50%, no matter how many you get in a row. It’s not the same as having 50 red apples and 50 green apples, then randomly taking one out, and leaving it out. Say you had 5 grabs, you got 4 red, 1 green. Now you have 46 red, 49 green. Your chance of green is higher cause there’s more. Flipping a coin, is ALWAYS 50/50 each time you flip. No matter how many you get in a row.

Have you guys done a speed tie fight? Randomize the pokemon with the lowest and highest speed to catch for your team. Set all speed stats to 0. Getting slow mons will be better because they sacrifice far less BST. Random 1st moves could make for a funny fight too.

How do you not know about Kyurem White and Kyurem Black? Kyurem did the fusion thing before Necrozma(Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings) and Calyrex(Ice Rider and Shadow Rider)

Challenge idea: You catch 1 pokemon out of these: 1 legend, 1 fully evolved, 1 ultra beast, 1 starter, 1 random encounter, 1 mid stage. 3 skips

Here’s a challenge idea… Randomly generate 10 different types of poke balls, then go around and catch Pokémon that best matches the look of each ball. It can be babies too but make sure to fully evolve for the fight! Pick the best 6 Pokémon then have your battle!

With the Stellar tera typing, the move effectiveness against the Stellar Pokémon is unchanged (so Stellar Dodrio has the same weaknesses and resistances) while granting the boost offered by tera to moves of every type...but once per type and, if a Stellar-type move hits a Pokémon that is in its tera form, the move (either Stellar Tera Blast or Terapagos' Tera Starstorm, currently) is not only super effective, but it drops the user's Attack and Special Attack by one stage. This is why I tend to default to Stellar Gholdengo for tera raids (if the base doesn't have a horribly effective move, that is)...not only is it, type-wise, massively defensive, but Good as Gold really helps with stuff like Yawn/Spore/Thunder Wave/Will-o-Wisp (which can make the difference between an easy win and a close loss). Nasty Plot/Recover/Tera Blast/Shadow Ball has worked well enough for me.

Challenge idea - start with a letter wheel, catch the first pokemon you see with that letter, next person has to catch the first that they see with the last letter of previously caught (i.e. roll an S, catch a swampert, next person has to catch the first T, etc.)

Cool video. I think next time it would be better to put a bunch of pokeballs (maybe all of them?) on a wheel and spin the wheel to decide which pokeball to use. Also incorporating a timer would make it more interesting too, cos you may have to catch mid or possibly weak mons to make sure you fill up the team.

These r diff variants of legends. Necrozma has 3 forms(fusions): 1 with solgaleo dusk mane, another with lunala Dawn Wings, and another with both solgaleo and lunala ultra necrozma. Kyurem has two forms as well with Reshiram and zekrom fused(hence kyurem white and black) Calyrex also has these(one with spectrier named shadow rider and another with glastrier named ice rider) All these forms are better than the original forms.

You should definitely play the DLCs. They're a lot of fun and they added a bunch of new and a lot of old pokemon to the game. So it would be nice to see some more Scarlet and Violet videos going forward.

20 minutes to catch whatever 8 pokemon you want and 1 legend. At the end of the time you put them into a box. Then you each alternate going down the list flipping a coin, the coin will decide if you trade the pokemon or keep them. After all nine coin flips are completed you make a team of 6 anf battle it out.

Got a idea. Randomized start of 3 Chill gets three quick gets three but before they look. Say its. Chillins file, quick chose left right or middle then chillin picks. Chillin looks at the three and tells quick what quick chose and then quick has the option to switch with the leftover mon not knowing what it is. If he does the chill can keep his or take quicks first one. If he doesnt then chill can chose his or the leftover one. And do that three times each

Challenge idea - randomized Pokémon encounters, then you play heads or tails. You first choose if you want to keep the Pokémon, or give it to the other. Then the coin toss. Call it right, and you win. If you call it wrong, the other person then chooses to either steal or skip that Pokémon. And you each only get one overrule/veto

Try a speed team capture thing. You can both create the team of your choosing but here's the twist. once a pokemon is caught neither person can capture any pokemon of that type for their teams. It means you have to balance being picky and worrying the other person will lock out a type. especially since in theory having nothing but dual types means that it could only result in 9 pokemon between the two of you. not sure if thats actually possible offhand but based on the numbers it is.

The Kyurem form I'm pretty sure is the 'white Kyurem' from black 2 & white 2. It's Reshiram and Kyurem fused together! Pretty epic

Spin a wheel to decide a ball, you have 5 overworld encounters (your choice) to catch a Pokémon using that ball (one ball per encounter). If you don't catch anything then you've lost that chance. Do this for 10 spins and make a team out of however many you catch

You should try a 30 second challenge, where you get to choose any mon you want, BUT if you catch a hidden encounter you HAVE to take it, and get an extra 10 seconds on the clock to keep searching!

Sca/vi may be a buggy game but you really have to appreciate the freedom of travelling compared to sw/sh where you can't travel over a 2cm bump in the wild area

Flip coin idea: Capture 9 MID stage mons randomly. If heads you'll get Fully evolved mon if tails you'll get a baby

Y’all should remixe this and start the coin flip with great ball vs poke and if you get the better ball you can gamble it for the next tier of ball up to master but if you gamble and lose automatic pokeball that would be fire
