Honestly, how did Sheldon not understand the business part of the comic book store? I get his reasoning, but surely he had to know even this wouldn’t last forever.

@@liliantan2379 That’s the joke-Sheldon was referring to how much the store is a part of Stuart’s identity, while Stuart was making yet another example of how poor and desperate he is to do anything to stay afloat financially.

"Admitting" is kind of a weird word to use. He usually says whatever makes him come out on top. Regardless if he's aware of it or not.

The short answer to that question is yes. As for the longer answer, Sheldon's dislike of change can often be a curse for him, and this is one evident example. Sheldon seems to forget that if Stuart's situation didn't change then one day he may end up finding Stuart dead for one reason or another (starvation, disease or other reasons being some of the less morbid possibilities) or out of business and then change would happen regardless. In that situation he may well find that the next comic book store he goes to might well have an owner who is unwilling to tolerate him and unlike Stuart can afford to kick out paying customers who make a nuisance of themselves. That is putting aside the fact that Stuart by his own admission thinks of Sheldon and the others as something like family and at times he doesn't even know if they even consider him a friend. So, the fact of the matter is that change was going to happen in one form or another and Sheldon should be grateful that a change happened that is both beneficial to Stuart personally and can help him too in the long run.

If you look at it from a logical standpoint, there are a few actually good reasons: ☑️ less people = quieter place to read comics ☑️ less people = better spots to sit and read ☑️ less people = better odds at finding or getting first dibs on rare comics and collectibles Speaking from past experience 😂

Ya Stuart should go hungry and struggle financially because Sheldon doesn't like people in the store he's beyond selfish and annoying!

Fun Fact: Stuart had the opportunity to sleep with Penny but he wasn't smart enough to figure out that Penny's offering of coffee at her apartment was a euphemism for sex. A lot of people don't remember this.

Sheldon bought comics in a physical store once, therefore he will do so all his life. Doing otherwise requires change, which he despises. In his mind, going to this store was a desperation move, since he couldn't go to the one in Texas on comic book day.

Tell me about it. Then he has the stupid balls to compare the whole situation to the plot of the movie “Black Panther”. Sheldon has got to be the most toxic Marvel fan and toxic person of the entire show, because honestly, focusing on him in the last four seasons was a mistake; they shouldn’t have dragged the show after season seven/eight. They should’ve ended it MUCH sooner. Can I recommend something to you where Sheldon gets more of what he deserves and is SOOO satisfying?

Sheldon even denies the idea when Howard trying to ease the situation by comparing ComicCon with Stuart's Comic store. The man-child is very bias.

I have this syndrome as well and it’s day to day struggle. But I am definitely working on changing my behavior and have gotten better over the years.
