Rush Hour | Compilation of Final Fantasy VII
This video covers Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core (PSP version), and the FF7 Remake.
There's no better way to celebrate one of the most beloved games of all time than by releasing a boring movie, gacha crap, and endless sequels, prequels, and remakes that only serve to spit on the grave of this once-great series.
I'm not a huge fan of FF7, but I like the game well enough. Enough to try out the rest of this media Square Enix keeps shoving out the door, and I regret my mistake every time. But I've learned my lesson. I skipped the Crisis Core remake, Intergrade, and Rebirth.
It's clear that the entire staff at Square Enix HQ doesn't care about this series anymore and are just trying to cash an easy paycheck every time. How could you argue otherwise when Square has produced SIX (6) FF7 mobile games in the past 20 years? Before Crisis, Snowboarding, Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episode, G Bike, First Soldier, and now Ever Crisis.
But by all means, if you're a fan of Final Fantasy 7, and you haven't played these games or watched the movie, check them out. I encourage you to do so. I'm not exaggerating when I say what Square has accomplished here is truly impressive: one good game, and a mountain of endless garbage piled on top of it. If you go down this compilation of Final Fantasy VII rabbit hole, you're gonna come out the other side battered and bruised.
Square Enix should be embarrassed.
