Overall great video! However there were a few mistakes. 1) In the previous patch, were Pulao was released, the "Dead Zone" effect was removed from the game. This caused the +80% and -9% damage for Uns to be removed from the game. This was done to add the ability to use Uns in teams with Omns. This would be absolutely busted tho, so they also made it that for every Omn on a team with a Un, the Un gets -30% damage. 2) When discussing the team color placements, and how triple pings of a color trigger the QTE of the character assigned to that color, you were correct. However, once you finished talking about QTEs and moved on to switch-in triple pings, you made a mistake. You said that when you switch into another character, their swap in triple is the color you assigned them when setting up the team. This is false. The swap in triple ping for a character is stated in their orb descriptions (or the Gray Ravens website) and cannot be changed. For example, Lucia: Plume's switch-in is her blue orb while Wanshi is his yellow orb and this cannot be changed. (I believe these automatic switch-in 3 pings don't trigger QTEs but are very important for damage, combos, and core passives.) 3) If you do decide to use the Da Vinci memory set in your team, only one character should carry that set. Your other two team members should carry other sets to take advantage of other set buffs. Having multiple characters with Da Vinci on the same team is kind of a waste. 4) Weapon Resonace is not RNG. 5 star weapons only have one resonance that you can stack up to 3 times. 6 star weapons allow you to choose your resonance and to switch it for free whenever you want. You can have up to 3 different resonance of your chose but you have to unlock one at a time over time. Mainly a whale thing but you can get a few as f2p. Have fun with the game! About the guild shop, ypu actually never buy the crate. It's best to spend for the 4 hypertune materials because it will improve your character's stats.
I played a lot of gacha games and i like to plan for which character should i pull and when to save ahead. Thank you so much for this video now i can plan more carefully, i just started PGR because of the PC Port Release. Keep up a good work!
Finaly a video that explains how this works, i played like 2 months ago for a week but i didnt understand much. I dont plan on playing on serious mode in this game, i have already a lot to play lately, im here because of THE VIDEO, so you can understand what my plan with a new account is. From what i understood my mission is simple... I think i got it. Basically: -Spam story quest untill Lv.40 -Do weekly and daily missions -Once you have 15.000 black cards you can secure an event character (in my case Lucia Crimson Weave that will be coming in Feb 2024) -You can use all the colored cards you have as F2P, since the game gives them for completing stuff, but save the black ones for event banners -Once you unlock events do them to get resources to level up your characters I don't care about teams that much since i don't even wanna tryhard that much for now, but i saw that you can get memories to that are like sets for your characters and you can collect some to get characters too (?). Whatever it is i didn't understand some things you explained, maybe because i didnt play a ton of it yet so idk what you're talking about but my focus is to get Lucia: Crimson Weave and saw another one i like that i think it's called Hanying. Maybe if i will save enought i will take the electro amplifier to destroy everything with her, that should be No.21: Feral Scent from what i understood. I should have a shit ton of time pullwise from what i understood, so even if i miss some weeks i should be ok. After that i will join less in the game just to get that feeling just like THE VIDEO and not care about much UNLESS i really like the game, but since i will be playing with random units i don't think i will be that much invested untill Crimson Weave gets released.
Not a new player (lvl 90's...been playing off and on since global release), but I always like to check these for info I might not have realized. One thing I would add for people if they want to do something thats not main story/events/dailies is that you can farm the S rank selena dark amplifier for free. The recitativo di fantasia is a rougelike story mode in the events tab and is permanent, doing it lets you get her for free. Also I would say its very easy for a newer player as you can run the entire mode with trial units. Its a great way to play around with characters you don't have and while it can be grindy to get selena, you can just passively chip away at it. Also you can buy shards for this selena in the battle pass shop as well, and from what I've heard from the CN server is that the bp shop will also get more shards to buy in the future.
@@Deltagamerz i took a really long break at one point and was playing off and on. Other games had my attention so I just kinda neglected pgr lol. Really started to get back into the game during the Capriccio patch.
@@riazne1r In the Challenge (oops I misremembered it being in events) tab there should be an option called "recitativo di fantasia" (I'm not sure if it has a level barrier to it as I had it unlocked to me right away). In the Memento Hall under the "Special" tab is 50 shards worth of Selene Capriccio which is the amount you need to unlock her. you need 1000 of the currency per shard so it's a fair bit of farming but if you do the daily missions each day you get 1050 currency. However the shards aren't all unlocked right away and you need to do a few runs through to unlock the ability to buy them. Thanks to it mainly being trial constructs though it's not hard to do runs if your account isn't built up. Just go through the nodes and things will keep unlocking the more runs you do. If you just do the dailies then it would be about 48 days, but if it's your first time doing this mode then you will get a lot of currency from clearing challenges and for making story progress with each loop.

When it comes to arrival construct banners If you fail at your 70% chance you don't just get any other S rank from the arrival character selection, you get any random S rank in the game(except the event one)
Pulling on this banner can be justified if you want to fill your team now, and are impatient to wait for a 100% rate up event. It's risky but if you really want or need a character can be an option. It's also only worth doing for characters not on the S rank selectors (which are up to Luna)
I like to pull for omns. I love to play around with new playstyles and collect chibis for the dorm. Plus, instead of costing 15k, they only cost 2.5k so it's not a big deal for me, except that I might not gear them up fully because of how much resources it costs to level skills and memories.

I was planning on saving all my BC for Lucia: CW and literally skipping everybody til next year, but caved and wanted to go for Veritas. Used up 10k BC, and didn't get her early RIP. Might go for broke and go to pity, but if I had known, I would have gone for Nanami on the rate up. Think she's here for another 2 weeks? Is it worth swapping over and maybe getting lucky? Should I just go for pity on Bianca: Veritas, or just hold onto the built up pity for the next banner? Anyway, there's just so much shit going on in the game that I'm kinda getting burnout despite only having played for a week. Glad to have found this video when I did because I was literally about to quit and just go hard on Aether Gazer with my god pulls lol.
I would save and wait cause you are gonna like Bianca Abysstigma a LOT more let me tell you. The new "Gen 2" DPS' are SO GOOD and REALLY FUN vs... Veritas :/ I would save, but depending on how close you are to veritas (or whoever else is on that banner rn) I could see you going to pity if you get somebody more worth it. Who else is on it rn I don't remember or ever look at those banners anymore LOL
@@CashySwanson It was Luna-Laurel and Liv-Luminance, but I already have Luminance from the selector and since it's on the 70% rate up and not guaranteed, probably not as worth it. I do have Rosetta - Rigor for Luminance, but I have no DPS for the physical team, so I might just full reroll and go from there lmao. I am level 62, about two weeks in, so not sure if it's worth to full reroll to be completely honest, but more rolls from story mode and missions make it tempting.
There were a few inaccuracies here but overall good video. One thing which is less of an inaccuracy and more of an opinion: Uns not being as "alluring"? Hell Qu and especially Hanying have a huge fanbase xD One thing that was very much incorrect, though, was about Lee Palefire's buff. It is actually quite a massive buff and he does become the meta Fire DPS for a while until he is replaced... well by himself in a better version xD Also Wanshi is not trash tier, he is actually insane Tier for soloing certain content because he has essentially unlimited dodges. This is not useful for content that needs to be cleared quickly but can be insane for survival^^
Hey my dude! An older gamer here, and during this long journey of finding that one decent cross-platform game, I think PGR is going to scratch that itch for me. I came across your guide video's during this decision phase and do have to say your approach, audio and explanation of the game is pretty Noob friendly from what I can tell so far and I really appreciate that!!! I think I'll watch and maybe rewatch a few of your video's before actually starting the game to get a good feel of what I'll be getting into going forward. This is just a suggestion but since you're making these type videos do you think you could make an Alt account and start a Beginner's Gameplay walkthrough? Bet you'd start getting alot of views with this, maybe on certain days and your other guides on other day's? Just a thought and kinda a hope so I can see how you'd approach the game from scratch. Doing this with a Live feed would probably be even better. Lol, anyway thanks for your time and efforts!!!

The 3200g, from my understanding, has an integrated gpu. If you really didn't have a gpu, your computer would not be able to display anything, let alone the game😋 Glad it's working though! I've heard lots of good things about how optimized it is!
@@CashySwanson i guess what he means is that even tho he' doesnt have dedicated gpu it still gives him smoothgame play experience , hence we could say that the pc client porting is a success
Even my shitty laptop could handle the client. The fps actually never drops. It's crazy. The only problem with having a shitty setup is the loading screen that's it

since im starting new, i mean just now....(i left at lvl 41 when it was new and forgot why i leave, maybe i got to much gatcha games played)... yeah started with stories etc, problem is which chars to start, i see you recommended dark..... maybe depends on how many basic construct tickets and just save the BCs ..... so its Dark elements before others?.... and thx for the guide, its informative... not tomention being left that time when it was new.... then got overwhelm with bombardment of modes...... yeah.. jopefully i can enjoy, even i do suck at dodges, since im not a "hardcore", just a casual, playing gatcha games, sometimes if there is a SWEEP feature is a plus XD....

I think this game Is pretty quick compared to others. For the most part, after day 1, you just do your dailies (take like literally 5 min MAX once you get in the groove of it) and you can do your weeklies on the weekend pretty successfully (with the WZ trick) within an hour. And if you can't, you could always supplement the BC's you'd lose with a monthly pass, or just skip one of the banner units if you don't want them and it helps ease the pressure a bit. Personally, I'm gonna skip the Karenina that comes out in July so that once I get all the others, I can get MULTIPLE of the new Alpha and SSS her hopefully🤞😁 I play this game less per day than Honkai Star Rail atm, and I barely play that as much as I'd like to😅
@@CashySwanson Actually as soon as I left youtube I tried it again and got it. Seems like a lot tho when you come in not knowing what is what. So I'm in a unique situation. I played the game at launch and got Alpha up to lvl 70 with liv B and Kamui A as her teammates. I also have S Bianca, Katerina and pulse before I quit. Now that I'm back with the characters I already have who should I go for in the Ssr selector? I know the dark dps is the best but bc I already have a pgys team and it's my only team that can clear is the phys tank girl a better choice?
@@Bdog4114 I would, in your situation, get Luna, and do the fancy like... French? Event that is permanent and get the one un chick that plays the flute, and use her as a dark amp (her damage isn't as important as her DMG buffs) and run Luna, Kamui (I'm assuming tenebrion), and Selena I believe her name is, and then Alpha, Liv, and Nanami Storm (who I thought was given guaranteed but if I'm wrong just any phys tank👍) and you will have 2 good teams built😎
why farm on odd stages and not even, as far as i know the amount of resource u get is the same with the exception that even ones have a chance of getting memories?

Personally, I like it being its own launcher. Sometimes, my Steam gets wonky, and I just don't like epic games launcher regardless, so it's been pretty good for me😁

Every week it resets. Save your best team of 3 for the hardest stages, and beat the early ones with 1-2 weaker characters. Even if you lose, you unlock the next difficulty. The highest difficulty is where almost all of your points are going to come from, so prioritize getting to that every week and using your best team on those

I'm thinking about doing a reroll however I dunno if i should since I have Nanami (Pulse) and Karenina (Ember). Would it be worth doing it? I just picked this back up and I did waste a lot of stuff.
On one hand you could, on the other you could not... If you did, you can grab Liv Luminence for free and 3 patches from now have the perfected physical team so that's a BIG plus. On the other hand, if you get Nanamecha this patch, you could get Empyrea on anniversary banner coming soon, and then hyperreal in like 4 patches from them to have the perfect team for fire. Kinda up to you tbh. Personally, I'd restart just because I used to use ember and from experience ITS NOT WORTH IT BRO (I don't like how she plays AT ALL personally so yeaaaaah)

You could have a good chance as a new player with all the one time BC's you get when starting out. After that, I'd save for the good characters every other month👍 but yeah, you totally have a chance, and there are good A ranks to get as well if you are lucky😎

And so far I have Vera/lucia-dawn S rank/Chrome/No21 SS rank(I'm using her)/kareina/kamui/Lee What do you recommend for me to use (Comb). And so far what do you think it is the best to get from the free 1 selector I have and the one I will get soon from the event? I'm also 31/40 on the standard banner.

They are in missions and just overall progressing. Once you hit ~level 40 you should get it all, then you get the s rank, then either get Kamui tenebrion or Liv Luminence from the mail selector, depending on who you pulled, and then you will unlock the current event selector, who, again, will depend on who you have on your account👍(I recommend Liv Luminence in general but Tenebrion is good for the dark team should you not have a budget option or be pulling on the Karenina Radiant Dawn banner in 2 months) Trust the process. Level 25 is not very far along😁

@@Piccolololmao at 40 you should be seeing every way to get them. I remember there was a mission that gave 2500 but it was a bit hard to get, but once I got it after picking the game back up, I was able to finish that banner out. I was level 42 at the time. And tbh the last 500 could easily come from the current event so if you finish the mission and the last bit is nowhere to be seen, buy em from the event and etc going on rn😋
I played on mobile for so long that i cannot get used to using a controller especially for the orbs since they change buttons depending on their order.
@Cashy Swanson Luckily i have the s22 ultra. Its big and square shaped, perfect for a game like this. I thought pc would be better and it is, only that the orbs mechanic is poorly optimized on pc for a fast paced game like this.
I'm a returning player and currently level 78, but I only have the Nanami Pulse as my S-rank. I also got the Nier Collab characters except 2B. I'm thinking whether should I continue this account or is it better to start a new one.
At level 40 you will unlock an event. S rank selector with Luna is in there. No one can get the selector yet, most free to play. Will get it by week 4, we are still in week two (the end of it but yeah) From THAT selector, I'd get Liv Luminence pretty much without argument being this close to Bianca Abysstigma coming out👍 OP physical team😋

You can totally play for fun! I personally didn't want to because all the fun characters were the strong ones for me😅 but if you save the currencies / spend casually on your fav characters you can get whoever you want to have and play them in all the content and just have fun with it👍

Personally I would look into zenless zone zero when that releases next year as well, it seems really fun and getting into it early would mean you could pretty much guarantee the characters you want the most via some casual play. PGR rn is in a state of every other month or 2 having a top tier waifu/meta character that everybody wants so people have been scrambling to grind for them. I couldn't keep up and I'm not p2w so I set it aside for that reason. I hope you get your fav characters and have a great time!
