I'm honestly a NFL casual. Been falling out of love with football with all the crazy injuries I see. I briefly follow the league through other RU-vidrs that make videos on them, so I will still tune in to some big matchups. Plus I am on a fantasy league with my buddy from high school
Let`s be real Westbrick should never have been an MVP, both Harden and LeBron were better then him that season, but Westbrick won it due to having public support due to KD doing the weakest move in NBA history and going to the GSW
I’m a die hard Warriors fan from the East Bay and I have always rooted against the Lakers and Westbrook throughout my time watching NBA playoff games. Now that the Warriors have won a title without KD, I now feel bad for Russ. It sucks to see a future hall of famer end his career like that. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but other than the Dubs, I’m kind of rooting for Russ and the Lakers because I hate to see the disrespect and how far he has fallen. I now want Russ to have a 2011 Dirk run. I was in late middle school, early high school when Russ and KD spent most of their time in OKC. I now look back fondly at how exciting Russ was to watch. His attitude has to change though if he wants to win
RUSS has everything coming to him he's an awful leader he makes teammates worse and the teammates that ate better then him make him worse bc he cant have the ball in his hand 247, Russ saw his peak and he doesn't have a chip because himself he's played with bron and kd and still can't win he's a bad winning player I'd take Mike bibby at the pg over russ bc I know I can build a team around bibby and not worry about them clashing he can't win as a #1 and he can't even play as a #2 his game doesn't work to win a ring as the 1st 2nd or 3rd option so what would I want him on my team for he's a glorified 6th man type player who had good stats on all time high usage rate I'd hope with the highest usage rate all time and being force fed boards he would average a triple double

@@hoppy23 I never said he deserves any more credit, he clearly doesn't. What I am saying is that I wish he would have a great play off run and win a title, then he can deserve more credit. I just hate to see a future hall of famer end so horribly. I felt the same way watching Dwight until he finally won it, granted as a role player. I agree that his overrated, but that has nothing to do with my point. If i really thought was Russ was getting over hated, I would jut call you hater and use some stupid argument about his stats. My grand point is that I think he has accomplished a lot in his career, but unless he can bring a title hoke someday, his legacy is tarnished, and that makes me a little sad.

They're both dawgs. I obviously can't speak for them, but that rivalry seems to just come from being tough competitors. Off the court, how can you not have a mutual respect? Just bring that all together to try and achieve the goal.
Westbrook absolutely need to win a chip with LA. Im not a pro athlete obviously but to play with Bron and not win a chip would damage his legacy more than the last 4 bad seasons. No matter how sus KD move was he has 2 chips and FMVP to show for it. Last I check those counts

It's how both of these guys make it so hard to like them. Pat Bev has that classic, I was a low draft pick that just kept grinding and finally made it thing going but he stay doing sketchy shit and makes it hard to take his "I'm just a tough defender" schtick seriously. It's kinda like (though not as severe) as Vontaze Burfict. Like, yeah, you're scrappy, but you also keep doing dumb shit man. And Russ? Like, pretty much the same part of me that wants to like Pat Bev wants to like him, but he's just such a dumbass. His refusal to make any real changes in his game even as the walls slowly close in around him and it's hard to come away with the sentiment that he absolutely deserves what's happening. It's one thing if he tried and failed to change up his game, but he hasn't even tried to.

Apparently you are misinformed Pat and Russ are good friend and have been for awhile. They are both highly competitive individuals and that shows on the court. This year they will motorvate each other and because of that Russ is going to have a great year. You are definitely forgetting how great of a player Mr. Westbrook really is.
