It was disappointing weekend for the Conservative party - to put it lightly.
The papers have been calling it 'dire' - they lost more than 470 seats...and a number of mayors...
Big wins for Labour, on the other hand - with Sir Keir Starmer saying we need an election NOW to be released from what he's called Rishi Sunak's "Zombie Government."
Let's just take you through some of the headlines...

Why do people comment on this like it is a proportional election? It is not. The UK uses first-past-the-post elections. Labour focussed really well on where they needed to make the difference. The overall numbers don't matter in UK elections.
