No thorough testing of meds anymore. We are the test. There is money to be made and we can't afford those stinking tests. Remember that when you talk to your doctor. I am doing all I can to avoid the medical system at this point. profit is far more important than patient's health. That is observation not speculation.

Why can’t they do more research so that allopathic medicine isn’t so dangerous and full of side effects. I have been damaged by 2 drugs from the doctors and they couldn’t care less.

Many of this class of synthetic antimalarials have severe side effects, including psychological ones. The use of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine as SARS-COV-2 prophylaxis was another potential problem, but luckily the quantity was smaller and AFAIK most people weren't affected with severe side effects...

Would someone buying into a 'cult' medication admit problems, though??

I am severely disabled from pharmaceuticals. It all started with a vaccine injury that was diagnosed as "conditions" that they then medicated me for. The side effects of those medications caused other "conditions" that they gave me more medications for...they almost killed me and left me damaged for life.

@@nicolarollinson4381 that's what I had! Most people don't know what ME is ☹ I was bed bound for nearly eight years and completing disabled with it for a total of 11 years. My disability at present is related to protracted withdrawals from a Benzodiazepine. I'm so sorry you had to endure this agony 😔 I not only avoid pharmaceuticals I have to avoid over the counter meds too. Recently was sick and took Aleve for a couple of days and now back to having symptoms that are severe at times. Hugs 🤗and love!

I was told in the UK in 2006 by an NHS travel nurse/GP about the side effects of Larium. So I'm hugely surprised in 2024 that people in the 2010's claim they did know this as it was very well publised back in 2006 the known side effects and the alternative anti malaria drugs. If i knew this in 2006 and was told this by NHS travel nurse and GP - I dont understand this video then

Because doctors and specialists don't agree on everything. Also, Larium wasn't banned back then. They were still using it in the military in 2005.

I knew about these side effects in 1997. I didn't take it for that reason as I was travelling in Indonesia. I did meet an English girl who was taking it eventhough she knew the risks. Everybody travelling in Indonesia knew at that time. Some people were just really scared to get malaria.

Psych issues are RARELY treated seriously, for the lack of care, quality of care, and absolutely the stigma of having an 'official diagnosis', which can permanently affect your hiring, your quality of life and even your liberty. In an era where struggling to survive is becoming the norm, no one is going to risk that much additional disadvantage.

Imagine having a great time with your mates, and then someone slips a bunch of LSD in your drink. You have the worst trip of your life, don't know why, and have no idea if it will ever end. Now imagine yourself in the middle of a firefight in Vietnam, and you're not sure who is friend and who is foe. That is terrifying!

I was lucky when I took Lariam in 2005 and 2009 when travelling to Kenya and Tanzania. I didn't have almost any side effects. As a practical nurse, I always read through the information about any new medication, so I knew something about the possible side effects.

Well, you WERE on drugs, but it wasn’t in the way they thought! It sounds horrible. People who knew about such drug risks in advance of COVID were naturally suspicious. I won’t take any new (to me) drug until I look into it, first. I’ve taken chloroquine as a child when we lived at Subic Bay. My oldest brother got very sick with malaria despite taking chloroquine and the usual precautions. Nobody else got it, including Dad (US Navy) who was the one most exposed and at risk.

Because the patents expire and then drugs can be made generically at very low cost and profits. $$$ as always.

It depends on the strain of malaria and this changes from area to area.
@danlowe8684
@danlowe8684 2 месяца назад
Well, not really. It depends mostly on a pharma company that is 'donating' the product. It is no different than the 'Statin' drugs. They are (were, since the c19 vax) the most profitable drugs in the history of man. What they do is manipulate the patent-expiring drug by a single molecule and give it a new brand name. Bingo, a another 20 years of patent protection with virtually the same drug. @@JacquelineHahn1
