God has really blessed me over and over with this to not ursurp myself over a man. As well as there is sooo many positions in the ministry that she can exercise her creativity and give her husband and any man their respect in their position. I used to desire to pastor a church when I was a teen; I was given 3 chances to speak before the children and youth of my childhood church, and did well (the adults in my life said so). But the Holy Ghost led me to the passages you referenced in this video, and now I attend a traditional Baptist church with no women pastors whatsoever. I’ve been a member of churches that moved toward women being ordained as “pastors” or have them on staff. I’m convinced it’s unbiblical and I pray that I will never be a member of a church with women as “clergy” ever again.

I never knew telling someone something counts as preaching...We always hear "well, Mary told the Apostles Jesus had risen", how that constitutes as preaching is beyond me.
Where I am from there are a plethora of women bishops, apostles, and pastors....all who truly believe they have been called. From my own observation of it, marriages were not fruitful and there is so much division in the local churches there. God has truly opened my eyes this year to the truth of His Word on so many things that were false and unbiblical traditions of men, far from the commandments of God.
I’m guessing people are blind when the “eve part” was mentioned about women pastors. They read that part with eyes closed. Proclaiming resurrection does not mean leading and preaching on Sunday! Two different arguments “sir”
The position that is overlooked in most churches today is the role of older women teaching the younger women. Most of these younger women are being raised by working mothers and do not get the parenting they need and deserve. This is where the church could step in and help them. Most youth leaders are young, college-aged and do not have the wisdom needed to guide these up and coming adults.
As a woman approaching middle aged I see this so much, no guidance. The young girls want to be the ones running churches and setting the narrative today. It’s backwards.
Listening in today’s world women just being portrayed as the worst things walking, talking, etc…It saddens my heart. Asking God why are women even here?? Just to be quiet and serve men? Raise children?? Surely God had a role for women as well! Surely God doesn’t think and feel the way the world does about us…No..women are not supposed to be pastors and apostles. But the more I read the more I see a lot of women God used that we don’t really learn about. My Inner Man always brings to my remembrance about God saying he will pour His spirit out upon us all to preach the Good News. It stuck out to me that when the multitude heard the Good news, they were baptized in water and Spirit..men AND women… No women are not supposed to take leadership roles, but women should not be downplayed in the Bible like we are done here on earth.
God uses people as they go about their daily lives. It doesnt have to be a grand gesture for god to use you. Simply just going about in an obedient manner could be his purpose. When we stop expecting god to use us how we want him to and allow him to use us based upon his order and his desire is when we are truely benifiting the body. The vast majority of men are just regular men we become special when we fulfill gods purpose for us. Why does everyone want recognition and honor when the Glory belongs to him and him alone? 😢
I think God uses women mightily. Does teaching in front of thousands of people and getting name recognition the only way to do God's work? My Mom, I love her, is a Godly women and she has lived a full life , not perfect, but full raising me and my brother and being an integral part of her church. Those that have the gift of teaching can teach, along the guidelines that are set forth in Scripture. I am sorry the world downplays women, but the answer is not to jump over what Scripture teaches us to correct that wrong. I am not saying that is what you are doing, but the Bible clearly teaches that women and men are equal in the sight of God, yet we are different in clear ways given some different responsibilities through our natural and spiritual lives.

What the devil has done is trick women into believing that submitting to husbands and raising children is not a huge calling. As a mother and wife you are responsible for the next generation and the salvation of your family. How we train our kids and love and nurture them helps to determine there outcome. If more women (who are able) would be willing to stay home with kids you would have a lot less children being exposed to sexual things at an early age and I say this as a current homemaker who was raised with a mom who did not stay at home I was left to the mercy of abusive women and men growing up and exposed to so much that I struggled with for years u til Christ saved me out of that life. Women are extremely influential and it takes a very strong woman to actually choose to submit in obedience to God and her husband because you love them so much and want the best for them. Like come onnn I wish we could see it. We have a very big role.
I was actually waiting for you to cover this. I’ll admit I’m a bit torn. Some of the most impactful messages I’ve received have been from women on the pulpit. I do realize that sharing the message of Christ (like the women who proclaimed Christ had risen) and a pastoral call are two different things. I think the most important part of the scripture is about not usurping a man’s authority. Maybe I’m a bit different in believing that men and women are equal, but equal does not mean the same and people conflate the two.
I’ve always questioned a women that desires a leadership role of a pastor. Any submissive women would decline that role. I often feel as if the woman that’s operating as a pastor is taken by jezebel spirit. I can’t listen to any woman preach the gospel.
The women were not preaching. They delivered a message about his resurrection. 1 Tim 2:11-14 is very clear: we shall not be a pastor. 1 Tim 3:1-8 is also very clear and speaks about one gender - male. Amen. We need Godly women to train children in the way they must go.
Order is key, God made the rules, but their pride and self-righteousness won't let them go against their fleshly desires 😢. They are being blinded by the enemy, not everyone that says they're saved are REALLY born again. Hold it up to scripture and read what God says not Man. She's being taught that the Man is the head his home, but the Women can be the headship/pastor in the church. Role reversal. Of course no scripture to back it up. I am convinced that the Bible means that women should not be the head leaders in the house in which GOD as GOD has not directed through his word contextually , but you can be a leader of women , kids , minister in the streets , on your job, when you are going and coming on the daily . Deceived thats what we are where in scripture is it reference she/Pastor? I see Elder Peter, Apostle Paul, Titus, James, John, Jude, Matthew, Stephen, James I don't ses where Euodia, Syntheche, Priscilla, Nympa OR ANY WOMAN called out as an Elder, Pastor or Apostle. They supported the ministry and of course coukd share the gosple, pray, strengthen and encourage each other but not PASTOR!
The pronouns in the 1 Timothy 3 passage you referenced are neutered, and many egalitarians sadly like to use that. However, though they are neutered, it is proper to translate them as male pronouns because they are modified by "husband of one wife/one woman man" in verse 2. Therefore, that "one" that desires to do the fine work of an overseer must to be a man. A woman is not permitted, not to mention 1 Timothy 2 makes that clear along with 1 Corinthians 14.
So what are the qualifications for the title/position of 'father'? Paul believed he was a father, and that there were others. He regarded the title/position as valid and also special. For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers... -excerpt 1 Corinthians 4 KJV -words of Paul And do not call anyone on earth your father; for only One is your Father, He who is in heaven. -excerpt Matthew 23 -words of Jesus Paul never states the qualifications for being a 'father'. I agree with you, but I've always asked this question. What about women as preachers? Because I've looked up the term "preachers," "Teachers," and "pastors," and they are all different in the greek.

I firmly stand by qualifications for a church leader (pastor/Bishop/elder); they should be the HUSBAND. However, I am conflicted with the Great Commission. JESUS told the 11 apostles to "go preach the Gospel to every creature ( Mark 16:15). Was that Commission to preach the Gospel solely given to men or to men and women? Please help a brother out.
The great commission is the role of every Christian. Not a pastor. Pastor is for men only. The great commission (sharing the gospel) is for everyone. No conflict here

You know, back when Perry Noble was "pastor" of New Spring, during a sermon, he talked about how he didn't have time to go to the homes of his congregants. He specifically mentioned not wanting to go and have meals with people he doesn't like eating food he wouldn't enjoy. I find it funny he asked if we would want to have pastors/preachers like John MacArthur, Steve Lawson, Voddie Baucham, Todd Friel, and Justin Peters to a meal (Absolutely!), versus people like himself, Steven Furtick, Joel Osteen, and Craig Groeshell (Nope!).

When you see the entrance of women pastors in the United Methodist Church (founder John Wesley) that was the start of the end of the UMC. It’s also the start of the slippery slope for all liberal rotten churches. I agree with woman Pastors not being Overseers or having authority over man. However, a lot of people find it difficult to exegesis this text. (1 Timothy 2:11-12 & 1 Corinthians 11:5 & 14:26) But I disagree with saying women can’t be pastors simply because if a pastor is married his wife will take on that role and responsibility because they are now one flesh. Again she isn’t dominant over him but their equals because of their marriage union. Just like Adam and Eve she was his help mate but she’s wasn’t given authority to name the animals. Great video, but I hope you can also open further in your deep dive in this topic. I've heard another argument regarding Paul's objections to women, that his letters were written according to the context at that time. This argument assumes that since his letters were contextual, so his views on women's position in the church is only relatable to 1st century Asia minor world. Under this argument, because his thoughts on women in positions of authority in a church is only applicable to the 1st century, it won't work in the 21st. Therefore, women can preach. What this argument fails to address, though, is Paul's comparisons to the creation. Man was made first, then woman. So, I guess the jury is still out on this one. Also, does male headship as presented in the Bible mean "patriarchy?" How do we address this question?

These use- less phrases don’t describe a thing about what the gospel is and has left a devastating effect of people not knowing what it is that they are saved from nor how they are saved; which leaves a more serious effect of people ques- tioning their salvation. Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salva- tion that is in Christ with vague church sounding phrases that do not communicate anything. But rather present God’s word with clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel: plain and simple. Sin was passed upon all men by one man Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin (Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good works one might do we are still found sinners in the sight of our Creator God. And all un- righteousness and those who follow get in- dignation and wrath. We cannot be found righteous for by God’s law we are found sin- ners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even one law we are found guilty. It is for this reason of not being able to create our own righteousness and being born in a sinful flesh that we need a savior ( Titus 3:5). This good news is unto all but only those that believe in it are made righteous in Christ ( Romans 3:22). It is then after we have heard this good news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and we are now part of Christ’s body the church (Eph 1:13). There is nothing that we need to do, no good works that are required, and no bad works that can separate us from our new po- sition in Christ (Romans 8:35-39). Faith and belief in this information from God’s word is the gospel. The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your heart. The gospel is not making him lord of your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not being baptized with water. So next time someone asks you if you are saved. This is a struggle for me even being a woman myself . I recently joined a church in obdediance after leaving old my prosperity preaching church and one thing that put me off is that it has one woman having the “pastor” title ( pastoral team) , however one thing I’ve notice is she doesnt preach every Sunday ( she’s a vocational pastor with her husband ) Infact since my time there I haven’t heard seen her preach a Sunday . I think they she does once in a blue moon. But mostly it’s the senior pastor or other pastors in the church who are men that preach at main services on Sunday So on this topic does it only address women who are senior pastors who lead the church service every Sunday?
often times ladies that have the title pastor are doing so in order to puff themselves up and get around loop holes by saying “well i’m not the SENIOR pastor so it’s different”. However there is absolutely zero reason for any woman to have pastor in her name. As the pastor’s wife she certainly has a large responsibility maybe more so than other women in the church. I’m surprised the amount of people reacting / responding with anger when it comes to this topic, if there are women “pastors” leading a church let God deal with that when the time comes, if there are male pastors living in sin AND leading a church or any other scenario.. again let God deal with them when the time comes - people can agree or disagree & we can debate until eternity but ultimately God knows it all

Many women are very gifted, anointed and multifaceted triple threats to the kingdom of darkness. I believe many are genuine, just within the wrong title or position because many don't know what a woman CAN do with their spiritual gifts, being a gift to the body of Christ and having gifts given of the HolySpirit, and where they can use them. I think we need a deep study on the differences between each of these and the judicial/governmental offices/hierarchy within the church. Much confusion within Christianity concerning this specific matter.

Scripture is very clear. It says men not pastors. So essentially woman are to not speak at all in the church. Also, Titus doesn’t state that all of these things woman could do are allowed to be done at church. As per Paul woman need to stay quiet and submissive to men at church.

That means woman shouldn’t be leading community service ministries if men are the volunteers at church, music ministries if men are apart of the choir or singing group because she is there exercising authority over that man in church which is not allowed. Young woman shouldn’t be allowed to oversee/start young adult Bible studies at church if men are in the group because as a leader she is exercising authority or young adult men. Essentially, only over other woman and children. So maybe we should have community service where only woman and children and do community service and if the men want to do something similar they need to have a man lead it and it be completely separate from the one the woman are doing.

Refusal to accept a Judge's verdict on any matter, resulted in execution, according to Deuteronomy. A Judge was cleared to teach from scripture as he/she gave a verdict, according to Deuteronomy. Since in Judges 4, men went to Deborah to be judged, a woman could teach men, even in the Old Covenant in a public setting. If your beliefs can't explain all this, they must be false.
The Bible prescribes only men to be pastors. (As demonstrated in the video) Can you find a verse that teach women can be pastors? Contradicting God’s word is a sin.
I’m using logic. I can point to scriptures where women are in leadership over men but you wouldn’t accept those. I’m not saying it is explicitly written in the Bible but many things aren’t. YOU ARE! So where is it explicitly stated? I’m using the characteristics of God & logic. BTW: The onus is on you to prove it, not for me to disprove it. @@Kdubtru that is biblical yes, but it's not a calling. I agree some teachings are wrong and some illustrations are too much. The parables Jesus used as examples is illustrations; it just makes it easier for the audience to understand. I don't know if this is a full time job or part time. The Holy Spirit will give us the wisdom and the right time and moment when and how to correct. I agree there is false doctrine and preaching out there, but the more you criticize/correct the more people don't want to go to church. The assumption would be that there is no right preacher. Some pastors do make mistakes in their preaching, and they do correct; that doesn't mean they are false teachers, they just made a mistake. False teachers are those who continue to preach lies and are aware of there false teachings. 'There is none righteous, not one.'
Proverbs 31 says a woman had work selling clothes and other goods in the marketplace so she can definitely work as long as she does not forsake the home as Kdub said. 🙏🏾
2:20 Actually, if you're keeping biblically, then women shouldn't teach children. Because Paul says he does not give women the right to teach whatsoever (so that includes children as well). They're supposed to remain silent if you're strictly keeping Paul's words.
The Bible literally says women can teach women and children. Titus 2. Paul is speaking of authority over men in 1 Cor 14. There’s no contradiction here
